Home from Home (Well its OK if your British)
Not exactly cheap compared to homestay or 'local accommodation", but if you enjoy your creature comforts like a hot shower and flushing toilets which are really clean, then its worth it. A short stroll to the beach was about 8mins, but the owners could drive you there in their off-road if you felt particularly lazy.
Really relaxing and the roof terrace where we had our "sun downers" was superb. Look north to the snow capped mountains or south to the lake and the siuthern shore.
Night life in Cholpon Ata a little basic but fun after a few beers. Locals very friendly.
The owners are British so no language or food problems there, and able to offer advice, sites to visit and transport.
A great time. Wish I could have stayed longer.
Unique Quality: Great views from the Roof Terrace cafe, mountains and lakes.
Quite and relaxing.
Owners really helpful.
Good sandy beach nearby.
