CBT Tamchy: Pricey for what you get
The CBT (Community Based Tourism) office is Tamchy is friendly enough, but their B&B costs over $11, which puts it at the high end for Tamchy. The food is adequate, but they'll do things like buy a bottle of soda, drink half of it themselves, give you the rest and then charge it to your tab! The toilet is an outhouse, which I can tolerate, but the shower doesn't have hot water. That's not forgiveable when $10 would have landed me a modern toilet and hot water.
Not really applicable in future i suppose, but they had five tiny puppies when I was there - definitely the highlight of the place.
