Thong Mexai is at the south end of the village, after you cross the bridge over the river, you will start going up hill and it will be another 300m where there is a curve on the road. It will be on the left, easy to recognise as there is a grassy compound, garden and half a dozen bungalows. Each bungalow has a balcony with table, chairs and hammock(if you are lucky). There is a simple bathroom and cold water only. The owners are extremely friendly and there is a small restaurant but you have to notify them in the afternoon should you require dinner. We ordered vegetables and rice, but we were a little disappointed as the vegetable was just a plate of green leaves so we did not eat there again, but it is a wonderful quiet place to relax and we would probably stay there again.
