A nice and quiet Hotel

A nice and quiet Hotel, somewhat outside the city-center, consisting of several one stock buildings with nice and large rooms, good bathrooms and all with privat balcony.

Unique Quality: The restaurant of this hotel lays in the garden at a small lake, inwhich every evening an orchester is playing classical Laos music and some Laos dances are performed.

Le Parasol Blanc in Vientiane

by D_Shannon about Le Parasol Blanc in Vientiane

$25 USD For $25USD per night, you can relax in air-conditioned comfort with 4 TV channels and a huge bed. Did I mention the almost-deserted pool? Staff told me they've always got vacancies, so you might even be able to bargain down the price of the room if you promise not to use the air-con; if you try this, let me know if it worked!

First time in Laos

by thompson100

Thanks very much for all your replies. We are really looking forward to staying in Luang Prabang in Jan.

We are now thinking of staying there for five nights rather than just three so could anyone recommend a nice (not too expensive) hotel with a pool? Le Parasol Blanc looks nice but not sure if it is a bit too far out of the main part of LP.

Cheers

Theresa
