This place is simply in a league of it's own.
Service is very attentive. All the female staff are very courteous & their uniform is simply elegant.
The decor is magnificent, with quality timbers on the floor. Rooms are very good size, particularly the 3 suites available. The bathrooms are most welcoming!
The gardens beside the pool are well-maintained, poolside service is great, & so are the restaurants.
Unique Quality: This was once the residence of a Prince. You see colonial-style architecture.
Most rooms have private balconies, with ground floor ones being Garden rooms, or Verandah rooms on floor 2.
The Suites (Champa, Lao & Maison), plus La Residence Twin offer ultimate luxury, with daily champagne breakfast & complimentary laundry.
They have an excellent restaurant named Elephant Blanc that serves mouth-watering cuisines.
Award winning Angsana Spa offers a range of massages. Ultimate pampering !!!

The hotel is at a junction formed by the large fountain in the middle of Chao Fa Ngum.
The place we stayed. It was used to be a palace. The room is quite nice and it's in walking distance from tourist attractions in Luang Prabang. Considered best in class in Luang Prabang, but given the size of the city, you wouldn't want to have high expectation of "best-in-class".
