Nice mid range hotel with Mekong River views

I stayed at this hotel in April, 2008. I paid $34 USD total per night, including breakfast. My room was on the 2nd floor, overlooking the Mekong River. Rather large, two single beds, A/C, satellite TV/w some English channels, complimentary bottled water, no fridge, large newly remodeled bath. It was very nicely furnished/appointed with nice tiled floors, tiled bath and wood accents. Bed was very comfortable. Room and bath were absolutely spotless!
Breakfast was very good, small menu, not a buffet, but substantial amount of food. Eggs w/bacon or sausages, baguette, butter/jam, tea/coffee, small OJ. Actually excellent breakfast for Laos.

Waiter, Mr Pong, was very efficient and ammicable.

Unique Quality: Overlooks the Mekong River, nice views. Great outdoor veranda dining spot on street front.
