A Hidden Gem!

I was pretty impressed with this hotel considering the price. I basically turned up in Vientiane and wandered around the center of the city looking for an appealing area. I eventually came upon this hotel and it turned out to be just right. The rooms were comfy and the staff were friendly and accommodating. It's the kind of place where you get to know the staff during your stay if you like that kind of thing. Just after I took this photo, the housekeeping staff invited me over for a drink (they had all just finished work) and we all carried on for a few hours!

It costs 600 baht per night. Of course they accept US Dollars and kips also. They have room service and safety deposit boxes. Reception isn't 24-hours but you can easily make arrangements with the night porter if you are turning in after 1am.
