Royal Dump!
Despite its claim to 3 stars, after trying 6 different rooms, the hotel's staff could still not find a room in which the air conditioner worked and the air conditioners in everyroom we tried appeared not to have been serviced or even had their filters cleaned since they were installed.
Most of the 6 rooms we tried had defective lights in their bathrooms, the beds in every room had seen better days and the whole place was infested with mosquitoes. Naturally, the manager wasn't in town or even in the country to authorise the refund of my advance payment.
DEFINITELY NOT RECOMMENDED, AVOID LIKE THE PLAQUE

Be very careful at this hotel (warning)
Be very careful in this hotel. Stayed there July 2005..here is the
story what happened me.
I kept my money, passport ect in the safe box in reception all my
stay in the hotel. The last night I took all out from the safe box,
and locked all in my luggage. The locker is a 3-digit combination
locker.
Then I was out of my room for less then 1 hour eating dinner at the
hotel. The rest of my time I stayed in my room.
Next morning I made a last second check of my belongings, and discovered
600 USD was missing. I asked for the manager the in reception, the man there told me he was out. I could not stay longer...the airport taxi was waiting outside and I was already in last minute for my flight to Bkk.
I ate all my dinners in the hotel, and the two first dinners was very
quickly served...But not the third, I took very long time comparing to the
two first dinners. Well, my idea is that they delay to serve me in the restaurant while another "made his job" in my room.
