5th Annual Pilgrimage to Macau with HK Trampers

The two hours walk with the HK Trampers was started behind the hotel Pousada de Coloane where they were staying and I was giggling to myself as I was lucky enough to stay at this beautiful Westin resort hotel at the other end of the Hac Sa Beach on Coloane Island. The water of this beach looks like those in Danube River to the Black Sea and you could see it in blue through the eyes of Johann Strauss as it's just the suspended silt from the Pearl River and should be safe to swim although I never try it.

This alien looking spider with golden yellow body was hanging on its own web along the Coloane Trail. It's easy to see its head, much smaller than the abdomen, was facing the ground and being lazy waiting for its prey or mate. No wonder why people like to stay in front of the www.

In Olympics, atheletes are competing for fastest and precise actions. In architecture, skyscrapers couldn't wait to go to heaven. Don't know if those people who had climbed to the top of this world's 10th tallest freestanding tower were able to receive signals from the God more clearly, but since I'm an acrophobic, it's better to practise yoga on the ground to get connected.

This Qing Dynasty style complex stands on the mountaintop of the Coloane Island. So who's living there? When you see the Tian Hou in white nearby, it's not your hallucination. She's really the resident of this Palace or else how could her tallest statue being that special in Macau.

I actually think the terrace looks like those villa in Cheung Chau of HK, but certainly this one is much pricey and luxury. Don't forget to join the free yoga class of this resort as the instructor is very compassionate.
