Certainly lives up to its motto "Your friendly hostel in Macao". It is owned by the very friendly Richard and his Filipino wife Precy. Ate Precy offered to pick us from the Kamloi bus stop after learning I lost my map of their place. In the end she good-naturedly went straight to the ferry terminal and looked for us there. Very kind lady. Knows the place very well having lived there for so many years...they offer valuable advices on "where to go" "what to do". They will even give you their mobile phone numbers in case you find yourself lost or in some kind of difficulty. Their service is one of a kind....lots of personal touch. Highly recommended for backpackers and young people. The rooms are a bit small but very clean. They have amenities for cooking and the owners let you use their PC to check you mails. The place is located at the third floor of the building though so it is "not" recommended for people who has knee problems and those with heavy luggages.
The guesthouse is located at the heart of the city...within walking distance to most attractions like Leal Senado, Senado Square, Ruins of St. Paul, Casino Lisboa, Nam Van Lake, etc. One of the cheapest accomodation you could find at HK$80 for a dormitory bunk, HK$150 for a private room for 2 and HK$ for a private room for 3. by dmirebella Situated nearly on top of the Penha Hill - it overlooks the Praia Grande Bay and the Macau Taipa Bridge. Hotel Ritz accomplishes the best location in Macau which is next door to those popular spots like Penha Church, A-Ma Temple as well as the city centre. goodnight ;0) by i-s-a I checked so many sites looking for a decent affordable hotel for Macau and somehow managed to trim my list into two....Hotel Metropole and Hotel Kou Va. Hotel Metropole became my final choice as it is listed in most travel websites...where I do most of my room reservations. I did reserve a room using www.HotelTravel.com as they offer the lowest rate at USD76 for twin bed + extra bed (no breakfast). As a whole, our stay in the hotel is comfortable. The location is very ideal...centrally located and within walking distance to most attractions like Leal Senado, Senado Square, Ruins of St. Paul, Cathedral, Nam Van Lake, Macau Tower (possible but a bit far) and Casino Lisboa. Hotel Sintra - the choice hotel in Macau! by sailor_p Hotel Sintra is a well-located hotel for the travellers who wish to visit the various places of interest in Macau. In addition, it is just 5-10 minutes walk to Senado Square. Major shops are also located nearby this hotel. I stayed at Hotel Sintra for 3 nights and I am very satisfied with the hotel. The room is spacious and clean though the fittings are a little worn out. The room is well-equipped with electronic safe, toiletries, complimentary mineral water and phone. The hotel staff are friendly and able to give good advice to tourists. I would recommend travellers with a tight budget and yet still want some basic luxuries to stay at Hotel Sintra.
One of the best thing I like about Hotel Sintra is its inhouse Chinese Restaurant. The restaurant serves mouth-watering dim sum and the standard is definitely on par with its counterparts in Hong Kong. Do check out the Chinese restaurant for dim sum in the morning! Also, shuttle buses are provided for guests to the Macau Ferry Terminal & Heliport at 15min interval. The shuttle buses are new and very comfortable. It really gives us lots of convenience as both my friend and I need not scratch our head to figure our way to the ferry terminal (we needed to visit Hong Kong for a day). Thumbs up for Hotel Sintra!

Hotel Grandeur is conveniently situated in the heart of Macau. It is just 5 mins by taxi rom Macau ferry terminal and 15 mins from Macau International Airport. It is one of the hotel that does not has a casino or a night club thus giving you the peace and sense of security when you stay here. The rooms are spacious, clean and the bed is very comfortable. It has an indoor heated swimming pool, Jacuzzi, steam/sauna and gymnasium equipments. If you need a massage, they have a team of experienced therapists from China providing only traditional Chinese massage and remedial treatments at an affordable price. Food can be found 24 hrs within a few steps from the hotel. The hotel also have their Portugues, Chinese and KTV. It also has a roof-top revolving function room at the highest level. Booked the room through asiatravel at HKD440 per night per room for a superior room. Like most hotels, they have catered a free shuttle bus which runs every half an hour between Hotel and the Macau Ferry Terminal.

@Taipa Island Resort by arni_ph075 Hyatt is located on the island of Taipa, and its a 5 star luxury resort hotel with an adjoining casino. The lobby is not that grand, but the rooms are spacious, and got great amenites. The staff are very accommodating and courteous. The resort got couple of restaurants, and all are very nice with great ambiance and even regarded as one of Macau's best restaurant. Flamingo is great.
What I really like about the resort is the adjoining Taipa Island Resort, it got a Mediterranean appeal and available for hotel guests. This recreational facilities got fitness center, spa's for men and women, tennis courts and a beautiful swimming pool (its really lovely esp at night). There is a regular shuttle from airport, ferry terminal and Lisboa to the hotel. I really enjoy our stay there, and if I go back to Macau, Ill definitely stay there again. * * * We were happy with our stay, and thus complete the feedback form of the hotel, surprisingly, in less than a week, the hotel manager send a fax, reply on our feedback.. It shows that they really take time to read all guests comments, simply great customer service.

Rua Dr. Pedro José Lobo by Avieira67 The building is old, but this hostel offers reasonable conditions for a cheap price. It is the ideal place for backpackers. I stayed here for 2 nights in a double room with air conditioning, and I found here a clean and safe place for 150 MOP per night. The owners are very kind and helpful. From this location, you can explore the city easily on foot.
Unfortunatelly, rooms have no great views. Rooms are equipaded with air conditioning! Location is excellent, about 3 minutes walk from Leal Senado Square! Bus stop just 1 minute away! Laundry service, only wash, for a cheap price! Internet and local calls are for free! Tourist information available! a local five star with a 3 star rate....that's royal hotel macau. located right in front of vasco de gama park, royal hotel may not be situated right smack at the center of everything but it's not too far away. it's about 20 minute walk from central square. service is efficient with friendly mostly Filipino staff. never tried any of their facilities though. the only one i was interested in - the sauna - was for gentlemen only. wonder what's up with that. the room i got was nice - with a spectacular view of the city.
great views

Lying above the beach and the dripping foliage of Cloane's east cost, the Westin Resort Macau is Macau's only resort hotel, and the Macau Golf and Country Club is alongside the hotel. At upwards of HK$1000 per room per night, this is definitely at the top end of the scale in Macau. But for your money you get a classy, refined and relaxed atmosphere that I thought was vlue for money. The hotel is particularly firm on check-in (3pm) and check-out times (11am) because at the weekends because of the very high occupancy rates, and it will not discount room rates very much. Te downside is that you are a long way from Macau town, with a taxi costing MOP55 each way, but an alternative is to get the free half-hourly hotel shuttle bus to the ferry terminal and catch a taxi or a bus or just walk into town from there.
Set in 60 hectares of gardens, it has all the leisure facilities you could possibly need. It also canily markets Kids Club weekends, and is well set up for younger travellers. The golf course is behind the hotel.
