Again, it was difficult to find a triple room within our budget in Macau and we found one here. Getting to the hotel from ferry terminal is easy - take bus #3A, 10, or 10A to M142 金碧文娛中心 (Kam Pek Community Centre). On your left is a small alley - hotel is 5m away. Good location, close to most of the tourist spots.
I feel the rate it's a bit expensive for a hotel within it's class. Nonetheless, the room is clean and the bathroom is big for a room this size. The mattress was a bit hard (as commented by some other reviewers) and I had to bear with the cigarette smell for our 2 nights stay here (in fact everywhere in Macau smells of cigarette smoke, especially the casinos). WIFI did not work some of the time. The hotel requires $200 of any currency for key deposit, returnable upon check out. Front desk staff was friendly, but that maybe because we can converse with them in Cantonese. Many tourist site are within walking distance from the hotel - so good if you are here to do sight seeing.

Good location to bus stops and Senado Square.
For the serious gambler the Venetian Macau Resort Hotel holds the distinction of being the largest casino in the world. With over 800 tables spread over four themed gambling areas the casino complex also boasts 3500 slot machines. Rooms in the hotel are almost an exact copy of its parent hotel in Las Vegas.
If you fancy a break from the tables and still have some money left in your pocket, the Venice Grand Canal themed shopping and dining complex is designer shopping on a "grand" scale.
With over 300 shops open from 10am to 11pm (midnight on Friday and Saturday) you can browse/buy for hours and even enjoy an "authentic" gondola ride along the array of man made canals. The gondeliers even sing which is more authentic than Venice to be truthful!
venetian hotel is so beautiful it is like venetian hotel in las Vegas
european architecture so elegant
Just thankful that I have chosen this Hotel where my family would stay for 2 nights in Macau... (our first out of the country getaway as a family)
First, the front desk staff I was assigned to was very helpful and so accommodating since I forgot the printout of our hotel booking with them! (thank you so much for allowing me to use your business room's computer!)
Second, great hotel location --- Senado Square and St. Paul's ruins are just walking distance.
Lastly, rooms are well maintained.
In addition, I got 3 postcards of the Hotel which I sent back home as souvenirs to my friends!!!
One thing that caught my attention is that there is no reception at the lobby, you will face a bank of elevators.. This will take you to the top floor, where the reception area is..
UPSIDE: Good view if you will be dining at the restaurant there [I didn't though so I can't attest how good the food is; I ate breakfast at the 3rd floor restaurant, thumbs up!]
DOWNSIDE: You take your baggage with you all the way up to the reception area, and drag it back down to your rooms..
Rooms are nice, clean and spacious.. Perfect to look at! But the beds are a bit hard.. I didn't mind though, I was zonked out! :)
For those who want to lounge in the hotel room, beds are one downside.. Cable TV is another -- limited channels.. I'm sure no one's gonna want to watch TV during their stay in Macau though.. :)
Casino here is not much too.. I'm sure gamers would prefer to be in the Strip for this...
Oh, and it's a bit far from the casino hotspots..
Upside is, you can take a leisurely walk along cultural attractions..
Big, spacious rooms.. Friendly staff, very patient and accommodating.. Speaks good english..
The only meal I had there was a breakast buffet which offers a very wide variety of meals, and scrumptious too!
This hotel was aimed at visitors from the mainland and was somewhat away from the main tourist area. Other than that it was ok other than I had the hardest bed I have ever slept on, it felt like sleeping on concrete.
This was our first trip to Macau, and we chose to stay at the best room in a 4 star hotel, as oppose to the basic room in a 5 star hotel. When you enter the hotel, it's just lovely. The high ceilings, and marble entrance are extremely classy.
Our hotel room at Golden Dragon was amazing! We had a corner suite, with large windows running the length of the room. We had amazing view out to the Fishermans Wharf, and the sea in the back.
Our suite was HUGE, it had a huge bed that looked bigger then King Size, and a huge lounge room too. Even the room entrance, and bathroom were huge too. So all in all, the room was HUGE! It was very clean, and luxurious. All the usual toilettries were provided, along with the usual bathrobes and slippers too. Everything was of extremely high quality too.
The hotel had a turn down service too, therefore the room was serviced twice daily...... so our bottled drinking water, toilettries, etc... were replenished twice daily. Great service!
The buffet breakfast was fantastic too, great variety, and everything was extremely delicious!
As per every hotel in Macau, Golden Dragon hotel has complimentary shuttle bus services both the ferry terminal, and airport.
The business centre is good too, as the service from the staff at the hotel was exceptional. We had free internet access, and they were more then happy to provide us with pens, paper, etc... when we requested, and were also happy to print off things for us too.
The location of the hotel is easy enough walking distance to the Fishermas Wharf, a shopping centre, The Sands Casino, Babylon Casino, etc..... and a slightly further walk can get you to the Lisboa, Wynn, Starworld, MGM, etc....... a pleasant walk through the streets at night to catch a glimpse of the night life.
All in all we had a pleasant stay, and were extremely happy with our hotel room, and the exceptional service we received. We have since been back to Macau another 2 times sicne staying here, but opted to stay at other hotels as we had a bigger budget to work with the other times. But if on a tighter budget the next time, there is no reason we will not stay here again. It's cheaper than most Macau hotels, but great value for money.
A budget hotel where located in city centre. From this hotel, it 's just a walk distant to Senado Square. The location on Rua da Felicidade make it more interesting. If you 're food lover, there 're some popular restaurants and souvenir shops along the street. Or if you love old style shophouse, you can found it in some parts of street.
The room 're clean but tiny. It come with variety options from Single to 5 beds per room. Price 're about 300 MOP - 350 MOP.
- Good location
For those who is not so into gamble you can stay here , this hotel is walking distance to all the gamble centre about 10 minutues .
The best hotel I ever stayed . Nice interior and good ambiance . I do not know how many star is this hotel but for me its like 5 stars hotel .
I only stayed here for a night , so I have not use their facilities . The even have a small casino in the hotel , but most people will rather go to the more famous ones .
But they do have a free shuttle bus from the hotel to The Venetian which will take you about half and hour from Royal HOtel . It is not direct . They will stop you at the interchange then you will need to the Venetian bus to The Venetian .
I could say hotel is just ordinary, nothing special except it's 5 mins away from Venetian Hotel =) It's located at the heart of Taipa Island (8mins away from the Ferry Terminal). Thanks to Holiday World Tours (where i'm currently working) we've been upgraded to a suite room. It can be occupied around 7-10 people in a room. Hotel is near bus stops and lots of restaurants, you just need to walk around. A shuttle bus runs between the hotel and the Macau Ferry Terminal.

This is a five star luxurious hotel with approximately 320 well-furnished rooms spread over 12 floors. Among the well equiped facilities are conference and meeting rooms, fitness centres with spa, sauna and aerobics, swimming pools, game rooms and tennis courts. The views from the hotel and Taipa Island are truly spectacular.
This is a great hotel, with good location. It's on the hill, bit of walking, but it's worth your efforts. Otherwise, spend some $$ and get the taxi to bring you to the door step.
This hotel has great service, good value (to think that it is 5* and the price is just MOP$100 or so more than the average 3*), good location. It has a simple 2 storey inhouse casino, with great service there. What more can you ask for?
Down the road, you get into the real Macao life, and if you need transportation, other than taxi, there is a bus stop just down the building. If you need a good walk, walk about 10 mins you hit the shopping area, the buzz, and 15-20 mins to the cathedrals and ruins of st paul's
Just remember to get hold of the Chinese name of the hotel for easy understanding by the locals/taxi drivers.
I stayed at the Pousada de Mong-Ha and found it relatively cheap and a good stay. It cost me MOP$640 (US$80) per night, inclusive of breakfast, for a double room, no tax as it's actually part of a government tourism training institute.
Service was excellent, rooms clean and spacious, breakfast not lavish but adequate.
Old folks may want to avoid this place as it's located on top of a steep hill unless you take a cab there every time you return from an outing.
Huge hotel! Huge room! They will provide you with a map of the entire hotel. There's a casino at the ground floor, a lot of shops and restaurants so expect a lot of people as it is open for everyone. The elevator going to the hotel rooms are secured though. There's someone checking for your hotel key before you can access the elevator so make sure you request for duplicates if you have company. They have a their own mall so you can spend the whole day inside the hotel. You can ride the Gondola for a fee.
The only "bad" thing is.. they've painted the ceiling in the shops area, where the Gondola is located, and make it appear like the sky. So you feel like you are outdoors. I've spent my first 2 whole days roaming around and just realized that I haven't been out! So on the 3rd day, I made sure I went to the city and get some sunshine.
just HUGE!!!! Room itself is more than 70sqm. Great amenities.
