Just thankful that I have chosen this Hotel where my family would stay for 2 nights in Macau... (our first out of the country getaway as a family)
First, the front desk staff I was assigned to was very helpful and so accommodating since I forgot the printout of our hotel booking with them! (thank you so much for allowing me to use your business room's computer!)
Second, great hotel location --- Senado Square and St. Paul's ruins are just walking distance.
Lastly, rooms are well maintained.
In addition, I got 3 postcards of the Hotel which I sent back home as souvenirs to my friends!!!

One thing that caught my attention is that there is no reception at the lobby, you will face a bank of elevators.. This will take you to the top floor, where the reception area is..
UPSIDE: Good view if you will be dining at the restaurant there [I didn't though so I can't attest how good the food is; I ate breakfast at the 3rd floor restaurant, thumbs up!]
DOWNSIDE: You take your baggage with you all the way up to the reception area, and drag it back down to your rooms..
Rooms are nice, clean and spacious.. Perfect to look at! But the beds are a bit hard.. I didn't mind though, I was zonked out! :)
For those who want to lounge in the hotel room, beds are one downside.. Cable TV is another -- limited channels.. I'm sure no one's gonna want to watch TV during their stay in Macau though.. :)
Casino here is not much too.. I'm sure gamers would prefer to be in the Strip for this...
Oh, and it's a bit far from the casino hotspots..
Upside is, you can take a leisurely walk along cultural attractions..
Big, spacious rooms.. Friendly staff, very patient and accommodating.. Speaks good english..
The only meal I had there was a breakast buffet which offers a very wide variety of meals, and scrumptious too!
This hotel was aimed at visitors from the mainland and was somewhat away from the main tourist area. Other than that it was ok other than I had the hardest bed I have ever slept on, it felt like sleeping on concrete.

This was our first trip to Macau, and we chose to stay at the best room in a 4 star hotel, as oppose to the basic room in a 5 star hotel. When you enter the hotel, it's just lovely. The high ceilings, and marble entrance are extremely classy.
Our hotel room at Golden Dragon was amazing! We had a corner suite, with large windows running the length of the room. We had amazing view out to the Fishermans Wharf, and the sea in the back.
Our suite was HUGE, it had a huge bed that looked bigger then King Size, and a huge lounge room too. Even the room entrance, and bathroom were huge too. So all in all, the room was HUGE! It was very clean, and luxurious. All the usual toilettries were provided, along with the usual bathrobes and slippers too. Everything was of extremely high quality too.
The hotel had a turn down service too, therefore the room was serviced twice daily...... so our bottled drinking water, toilettries, etc... were replenished twice daily. Great service!
The buffet breakfast was fantastic too, great variety, and everything was extremely delicious!
As per every hotel in Macau, Golden Dragon hotel has complimentary shuttle bus services both the ferry terminal, and airport.
The business centre is good too, as the service from the staff at the hotel was exceptional. We had free internet access, and they were more then happy to provide us with pens, paper, etc... when we requested, and were also happy to print off things for us too.
The location of the hotel is easy enough walking distance to the Fishermas Wharf, a shopping centre, The Sands Casino, Babylon Casino, etc..... and a slightly further walk can get you to the Lisboa, Wynn, Starworld, MGM, etc....... a pleasant walk through the streets at night to catch a glimpse of the night life.
All in all we had a pleasant stay, and were extremely happy with our hotel room, and the exceptional service we received. We have since been back to Macau another 2 times sicne staying here, but opted to stay at other hotels as we had a bigger budget to work with the other times. But if on a tighter budget the next time, there is no reason we will not stay here again. It's cheaper than most Macau hotels, but great value for money.

A budget hotel where located in city centre. From this hotel, it 's just a walk distant to Senado Square. The location on Rua da Felicidade make it more interesting. If you 're food lover, there 're some popular restaurants and souvenir shops along the street. Or if you love old style shophouse, you can found it in some parts of street.
The room 're clean but tiny. It come with variety options from Single to 5 beds per room. Price 're about 300 MOP - 350 MOP.
- Good location

For those who is not so into gamble you can stay here , this hotel is walking distance to all the gamble centre about 10 minutues .
The best hotel I ever stayed . Nice interior and good ambiance . I do not know how many star is this hotel but for me its like 5 stars hotel .
I only stayed here for a night , so I have not use their facilities . The even have a small casino in the hotel , but most people will rather go to the more famous ones .
But they do have a free shuttle bus from the hotel to The Venetian which will take you about half and hour from Royal HOtel . It is not direct . They will stop you at the interchange then you will need to the Venetian bus to The Venetian .

I could say hotel is just ordinary, nothing special except it's 5 mins away from Venetian Hotel =) It's located at the heart of Taipa Island (8mins away from the Ferry Terminal). Thanks to Holiday World Tours (where i'm currently working) we've been upgraded to a suite room. It can be occupied around 7-10 people in a room. Hotel is near bus stops and lots of restaurants, you just need to walk around. A shuttle bus runs between the hotel and the Macau Ferry Terminal.
