First World Hotel: Accomodation

    This hotel is the largest in Malaysia however the rooms are not.The rooms are tiny except for the World Club rooms.Having more than 6000 rooms upon completion,the lobby is inevitably crowded.Checking in takes more than half an hour during peak period.Worst of all the facilities in the hotel is inadequate.If you prefer a more luxurious stay,you may wish to stay at the World Club room.

    Good view and next to First World Plaza.

  • Directions: If you get to Genting by bus,you will be at the terminal and just have to walk up. If you get there by the Genting Skyway,follow the signs all the way to First World Hotel.All the hotels in Genting are connected.

    Of the hotels I have stayed in Genting,this is the best one.Its rooms are well furnished and this hotel has good facilities.Check in is much faster than other hotels.

    This apartment is located away from the crowd.Having a few rooms,this apartment is suitable for big families.At an affordable price,this apartment also has barbeque pits for rent.The con is that there is no room service unlike the other hotels and getting to the themepark and casinos can be quite troublesome.

    This is a five star hotel and I think it is the best of all the hotels up there.Looking less crowded,check in was also very fast.Rooms on the other side enjoy a view of the Genting Skyway.Room rates is the highest among all hotels.But the prices are worth it.

    Hotel Seri Malaysia is located at the foot of Genting at GohTong Jaya.

    They have quite reasonable room rates compared to those on the Genting Highlands.

    On my very 1st trip up to Genting, I stayed at the Resort Hotel. The room was very spacious.

    Resort Hotel is amidst the cool comfort and majestic natural landscapes of Genting. It has 838-room which adjoins the Genting Hotel. It houses five meeting rooms catering to the needs of small, medium and large functions.

    This is an old hotel.However, the rooms are huge and the rates are reasonable.Location is great if you want to be close to the outdoor themepark.But getting to the casino is troublesome.
