Resort Hotel: Virtually Living Above the Clouds
It was a totally awesome stay as the entire hotel has recently gone through a major renovation. At least for the Deluxe and Super Deluxe rooms. The check-in was done in super quick time (Less than 10 minutes) and the entire lobby was inviting. Definitely a value-for-money hotel to consider. But remember to book at least three weeks in advance for off-peak and 1 month or more if you're going during peak season.
Unique Quality: Check-in was at 3pm. My family and I arrived at about 4pm and we were given a room with a horrendous view. i.e. View totally blocked by Genting Hotel and a host of other air-ventilation units that totally dissolved any excitement that we had.
BUT!
I thought that since it was my first time staying in this hotel and also, I have my secret weapon in my little girl, that I trodded down to the counter and somewhat demanded (Actually, it was more like pleaded) the counter staff to change the room. Lo and behold, I was given a room with a view to die for! A great view of the theme park and the mountain ridges where the clouds regularly envelopes the entire region. You'd be forgiven for thinking that you're in heaven!
The Deluxe room also came with two super single bed, and a bathroom with great showering facilities. Definitely a must-book for my next trip.

Theme Park Hotel
This hotel costs a little more than First World Hotel but the facilities in the latter is much better. We stayed here because First World was fully booked.....it was Bollywood Night.
We had to transfer room.......the first room was located in the adjacent building, after taking the lift we still had to cross a walkway,it was a looong walk and there was too much noise due to the construction/renovation going on in the building , so we asked to be transfered to a room in the main building.

1st World Hotel
After reading so many bad reviews about this hotel, my expectations somewhat was lowered and in the end, my stay there was quite OK. I've got nothing to complain, everything went quite smoothly, basically because our tour guide has been working very hard to ensure the smoothness and comfort during our one night stay.
Unique Quality: Listed in the Guiness Book of Records as the worlds largest hotel in terms of number of rooms; more than 6,000 rooms.

Genting Hotel: Not a bad stay
On the whole, the stay has been satisfactory. There is no question on the standard of their rooms. Service is efficient and room requests are met with fast responses. However, enquires with their staff on restaurants or entertainment have not been informative. E.g. wrong directions were given.

Highlands Hotel
Before the First World Hotel was built, Highlands Hotel used to be the biggest hotel and centre piece of Genting Highlands. This is a big and comfortable hotel (about 900 rooms) which is centrally located. I used to stay at this hotel when I was at Genting Highlands during my younger days and it always bring back good memories :)

Resort Hotel
There are a few hotels at Genting Highlands which you can check out using the website below. The Resort Hotel (4 star hotel) is one of the older hotels, but the price is cheaper and the rooms are bigger than some of the new hotels. Furthermore, you can have a nice view of the surrounding mountains from your room on a clear day. Overall, I think this hotel offers value for money stay at Genting Highlands.

Hotel Gohtong Jaya: Hotel Gohtong Jaya
Another smaller hotel in Gohtong Jaya, away from the hustle and bustle of where the action is at the peak of Genting.
