It costs me RM396 for 2 nights stay (Saturday and Sunday). Booked online, no free breakfast. However, if you fill in the feedback form after stay, you will get a free breakfast voucher, but it was too late!
Furnitures and facilities are old, but at least the room is much bigger compared to First World hotel. I was just enjoying the weather, not the stay.

On my very 1st trip up to Genting, I stayed at the Resort Hotel. The room was very spacious.
Resort Hotel is amidst the cool comfort and majestic natural landscapes of Genting. It has 838-room which adjoins the Genting Hotel. It houses five meeting rooms catering to the needs of small, medium and large functions.

Accomodations are reasonable in malaysia genting highland.There are several to choose.. from 3star - 5stars and also apartments.All the hotels namely GENTING , RESORT , THEME PARK , HIGHLAND N THE MOST RECENT FIRST WORLD HOTELS are linked to one another. PRICES RANGE FROM $59-300 MYR/NIGHT BASED ON TWINSHARING.

This place is like the Las Vegas of the East and is the perfect escapade for those who seek relaxation in a cool mountain setting. It also houses a world-class casino, a theme park and several first-class hotels and an excellent 18 hole golf course. From Kuala Lumpur (the capital city of Malaysia) on a clear night, you can even see the bright lights of Genting Highland twinkling in the sky! Not surprising since Genting Highland is just a mere one hour's drive away from K.L.
Well, just to give you a brief background. The development of the Genting Resort began way back in 1965 and today, it has bloomed into a MAJOR holiday resort drawing thousands of visitors from all over the region. And it's no wonder too... with its cool weather, lush greenery and a wide range of recreational activities making this an ideal INEXPENSIVE destination.

Was wondering if there is a Helicopter service up to GENTING HIGHLANDS? Does anyone has the contact and how much it cost to take the Helicopter up to GENTING? What is the timing like?

Yes, you can get a heli ride to the top. It takes about 30 minutes. There is also a skyway tram up to the City of Entertainment. Take a look at these tips. Both the Skyway and heli ride information is there.

Above is the official website of Genting Resort. Helicopter ride is not standard transport option. It has to be specially booked - emergency or VIP. So if cost is not a problem, you can contact the Genting Resort and arrange for special helicopter booking.
