    Liked the view

We took a 4pax family suite, since it was more spacious (with a living room area and dinning area) The view was of the theme park, and being adventurous cheerful people, we like seeing all the activities and seeing people having fun.

But though close to the theme park, it was right the other end from First World hotel where we ate and shopped. Had to walk through several escalators (there were so many escalators linking all the buildings together), but to us, it was alright. Walking keeps you warm in that cold mountain weather.

Theme Park Hotel

This hotel costs a little more than First World Hotel but the facilities in the latter is much better. We stayed here because First World was fully booked.....it was Bollywood Night.

We had to transfer room.......the first room was located in the adjacent building, after taking the lift we still had to cross a walkway,it was a looong walk and there was too much noise due to the construction/renovation going on in the building , so we asked to be transfered to a room in the main building.

Resort Hotel

by victorwkf

There are a few hotels at Genting Highlands which you can check out using the website below. The Resort Hotel (4 star hotel) is one of the older hotels, but the price is cheaper and the rooms are bigger than some of the new hotels. Furthermore, you can have a nice view of the surrounding mountains from your room on a clear day. Overall, I think this hotel offers value for money stay at Genting Highlands.

Highlands Hotel

by victorwkf

Before the First World Hotel was built, Highlands Hotel used to be the biggest hotel and centre piece of Genting Highlands. This is a big and comfortable hotel (about 900 rooms) which is centrally located. I used to stay at this hotel when I was at Genting Highlands during my younger days and it always bring back good memories :)
