Hotel London: Just a abit more Gracious
I was in Kuala Lipis, Malaysia ,after finishing my Jungle Train ride from Kota Bahru. The time was 1335hrs. As my connecting train would leave at around 2325hrs for KL, I needed some place to rest. I tried London Hotel which was just a short distance away from the train station. I requested for a non-airconditioned room . They charge 23Rm for one night. I asked for a discount telling them I was only hanging around until 11 pm that night. After much persuasion, the reception finally agreed to let me have the room on half-day rental and I had to pay 20RM. Well, I was not in the mood to fight for more discounts and I just could not care much. I paid up and went up to rest. In the evening the reception asked if I was ready to check out. That time then was around 8.20pm. I told him I would check out around 11pm. Well, he said I would have to pay up another 3RM if I want to hang around for another 3 and a half hours. I could have easily paid him the 3RM but I just packed and left. But what I did not like was the stingy attitude over a mere 3RM. Furthermore, they would have already gotten the advantage by charging me near full night rate when I was only hanging around for 9 hours. I will never recommend anyone to take that horrible place.
Toilet facilities: 3/10
Service: -10/10 (Just too much!!!!)

Classic Inn Hotel: Good small hotel in Central Kuala Lumpur
Well located city centre hotel convenient for all transport connections and shopping malls. Efficiently run and very clean with comfortable rooms with good bathrooms. It's always nice to have a pleasant outside sitting area and this is where I enjoyed the served breakfast. Would I use again? ~ I did! I returned for the last day of my Malaysian trip.

During check in we had to QUEUE for 20 mins before our turn came.
Chalet on water is awesome. you can see beatiful ocean rt outside your bedroom. more awesome is the sunrise & sunset.
The resort is huge. one would always need shuttle from room to lobby. Resort has pvt beach , water sports, organizes various tours around langkawi, there is exclusive Kim's walk (nature walk around resort), some sports training, indoor games, yoga.

We stayed here for 7 nights and breakfast was included. Breakfast included something curried every day.
The Hotel also offers High Tea which we found delightful - complete from cakes to curries.
There is a lovey clean swimming pool with tables and chairs where one can relax after a long day of holidaying!
The staff were only friendly and supportive - we could not complain about a single thing.

Radius International: Good hotel to stay in KUL
If you come to visit KUL and you want to find budget hotel, you can come to stay in Radius international. The hotel is very big building with more than 400 rooms in Bukit Bingtang, very good location of Kul. The rooms are big with nice view but the amenities are still poor.
The price is RM120 is not very expensive for 3star hotel in Kul.
Great views, good swimming pool and very good location.

The Datai: 5 Star Rain Forrest Experience
Oh my god, wasnt quite ready for this amazing 10 night experience.
Ist night I wanted to leave, by the end of the holiday i loved everything about the place.
Stayed in infamous villa 42, where large snake was found by maid in morning just a couple of weeks early, dont worry though if you keep the air-con cold the snakes dont like it !
It stated in the villa do not feed the monkeys from your balcony, but i couldnt resist. I broke a banana in half and threw the 2 pieces down onto the forrest floor beneath. To my horror a huge lizard dashed out and grabbed one piece and a hideous black spider engulfed the other, no sign of cute monkeys, couldnt believe it ..welcome to the Datai.

Cititel, Penang: Good location for a Hotel
I had a room with no view, it was all black when you look out trough the window but room was really clean. It's just a typical hotel, nothing special but it doesn't matter coz location and service is good. It's in the city centre, dining and shopping is just nearby. Almost everything is right in front of you.
Just right across the hotel there is this huge food court with different virieties of food. There are also a couple of coffee shops and bars nearby just to chill out after dinner or shopping. I suggest you visit the "SLIPPERY SINORITA" a bar with live music. It's just around 5 mins walk from Cititel. You don't need to worry about the price, almost everything is cheap =). You can also ride the Trishaw to go around town, it's a bicycle with a carriage for 2 people at the back. Catch a Trishaw just beside the Cititel

Palace of the Golden Horses: One of Malaysia's Best 5 star Hotels
Rooms are huge with two queen sized bed (can fit a family of 6), nice antique cabinets/drawers (hotel theme-classic), clean sheets, room smells good, a sliding glass door to the patio with nice view of the poolside. i had only few pictures of the hotel, we checked in around 11pm and was way too tired and had to check out early cause we need to be in a town called Ipoh for lunch before heading to Penang.
Hotel staff are very nice and accomodating. Makes you feel you're at home
This hotel is surrounded by a lake and you can rent a boat to go around the lake. It's nice to go early in the morning where you can see amazing sceneries of the mountains.

Sheraton Imperial Hotel Kuala Lumpur: room with a view
we had a wonderful stay at the hotel Imperial in Kuala Lumpur we splashed out and stayed in a Club room for six nights as the had a stay six pay four promotion going on there website!! The room was stunning just as the look on the website I was a little worried it would be smaller than the pictures looked as this has been my experience in the past however this was not the case. The beds were really comfy and the view was awesome on the petronas side of the hotel!! We had free washing done everyday and ended up eating lunch in the main restuarant as there was more choice there!! Free internet in the club room upstairs this worked out great as we didn't see internet places around like we have in other parts of asia!!
stunning sunrise every morning!!! Club rooms had great beds with your choice of pillow type feather, down etc!! Fab bathrooms!! Breakfast downstairs with freshly cooked waffles, pancakes, omelettes, eggs, fruit juice etc great choice!!
