by keeweechic On another occasion to KL I stayed out of town at the Hyatt Regency Saujana *****. It was closer to the airport and nearer to where I needed to be. The whole resort is lovely, set on a 160 hectare lush tropical landscape overlooking two championship 18-hole golf courses and a man-made lake. .
The resort is close to Malaysia's largest Sports Stadium and the new Formula One circuit, new shopping centres and family water sport playground. Theme: HotelComparison: more expensive than averageAddress: Subang, Selangor Darul Ehsan, MalaysiaDirections: Only 38 minutes to Kuala Lumpur

by keeweechic Ye Old Smokehouse was built and is one of the older country Cameron Highlands Golf Course. The houses in the enchanting Cameron Highlands which will remind you of being somewhere in England. Overlooks the ideal capacity for most rooms is two, however there are a few rooms that can accommodate up to four people. How about afternoon tea with scones and lashings of cream and fresh strawberry jam in the hotel garden. This is where we spent 4 days unwinding and cooling off from the heat of Singapore. It was just divine. The 4 poster was of intrigue to me and I just had to close the curtains on the bed at night. It was quite a challenge in the dead of the night finding the opening to get in and out during the dark of the night... it was fun.
Latticed windows, wooden beams, many of the Suites have four poster beds and are all equipped with lavish toiletries and thoughtful extras. Bathrobes, hair dryers, fresh fruits, evening maid service and newspapers are standard to all Suites. Wonderful Devonshire tea in the afternoon. Front and Back of Holiday Villa Subang by AlbuqRay My friends live in Subang Jaya. They recommended this hotel. It is a combination hotel and health club next to a small lake. The train station and a large shopping center are nearby. It is moderately priced and was never crowded when I was there. A short train ride will get you downtown KL.
The pool area is fantastic. I think there are five different pools, including olympic size. Because it is a health club also, there are workout areas and even indoor badminton courts. Theme: HotelPrice: US$40-80 » Currency ConverterComparison: less expensive than averageAddress: Subang Jaya

A Place That Has It All! by lmkluque All inclusive!
Genting Highland Resort was a city unto itself! It was a cool relief from the hot and humid weather in the cities at lower altitudes. This Resort offers something for all family members. Theme: HotelPrice: US$120-180 » Currency ConverterComparison: about averageAddress: GENTING HIGHLANDS

A great relaxing and cool place! by lmkluque I don't know the cost because my friend was given a week's stay at this resort free, from her bank.
--The air was clear and cool. The only things to do were swim in the pool, walk through the gardens, go up to Genting Highland Resort, watch TV, or just relax. Instead of just a room, we had an apartment; two bedrooms, living room, kitchen and dining area and two bath rooms. (I believe all the units were the same.) --Shuttle service from apartment to Club House. Sky ride up to Genting Highland Resort. I got this accomadation from the airport. Its located in an area called Biku Bitang, this area is full of budget hotels.I got a double room for as low as 100 dollars for 3 nights with breakfast. The hotel is very good, clean and well maintained. The travel desk in that hotel is run by Mr.Chong(who owns a car). This person is an excellent guide and a good driver. I suggest that people travelling to Malaysia should nt book hotel and sight seeing tours from their country of origin.Alternatively they can book for say 2 nights from country of origin and they can explore for better deal in Biku Bitang area. This area is few minutes drive from the famous KUL tower and the Petronas.
Its doesnt have pool, but it has sauna and spa.The rooms are clean and well maintained.Very friendly staff. Theme: HotelPrice: US$20-40 » Currency ConverterComparison: least expensiveAddress: Biku Bitang area
