The homestay offers 2 packages - a 2-day one-night package at RM90 per person... and another package from Singapore at RM239 per person that includes van transport from a designated pick-up point in Singapore... Both packages provide all meals, including a seafood barbecue in the evening... Guests enjoy a free flow of soft drinks and beverages such as homemade "chin chao" jelly and warm barley drinks... During the second day, guests get a sightseeing trip to a "kelong" or fish farm... It only costs an additional RM5 for a boat ride to nearby Kukup island, which is the world's second largest mangrove island...
The Kukup Seaview Homestay is spacious and clean, with an attached bathroom in all seven rooms... The place boasts two television sets, including a flat-screen LCD television with karaoke equipment and Astro channels... Guests can also pass their time with board games and mahjong...

This is the new chalet in Kukup that one of our friend recommended. The owner is very friendly. The chalet is new and the back of the house is windy. You can see a sunrise and sunset from the front and back of the house respectively.
We took a RM70 package which provide us lunch, after lunch tea, dinner, breakfast, seafood lunch @ restaurant and a short tour. We went for the mangrove tour with the boat.

My family and I enjoyed the attention from our flame haired hostess to the utmost. She took care of all needs right from where we could park our vehicles, to the best place for seafood, down to a local tour of the fishing farms... My mom loved her potted flowers outside on the porch and boy did it make her happy to talk about them...You have to realise that the folks here opened their homes to visitors for such a small fee that such hospitality seems really amazing (Imagine strange ppl coming into your home!)...

-Watch our hostess slave over your BBQ dinner and you'll be amazed at this woman :) She kust keeps going!
-Loved her BBQ dinner! Chili paste was marvellous! And the seafood to be had there...mmm!
-We had a large family of about 10 but it wasn't a problem arranging to accomodate all of us...
-Great shots to be taken at dusk and night, if you're an avid photographer!
-Loved the kelong visit! Fun!

Since the Kukup surrounded by sea, most of the building are build above the sea - including accomodation for visitors travel in Kukup.
