Average Quality Hotel

I am a frequent traveller to Mersing due that my job required me to move around the Southern Region of Peninsular Malaysia. The only hotel that is just a walking distance to my work station in Mersing is the Seri Malaysia Hotel. Sometimes when i need to overnite, i will choose to stay here at Seri Malaysia.

Well, the hotel look nice from the outside with self identity build up & design. Pool available. Situated just nearby to seaside. Hospital is just in front of the hotel and few local restaurants is just a walking distance away. Staff are friendly and rooms are not expensive.

The standard room is a little bit small, small attached bathroom, not very clean and using a dispenser like those handsoap dispenser to store bathing liquid soap which is not hygienic. Room also smells a little bad, might cause by dampness of the carpet.

Room rental will comes together with a free breakfast buffet and you can aspect the same buffet menu everyday with limited choice errm Nasi Lemak, Toasted Bread with Butter/Jam, Poridge and Cereals.

Not recommended to those traveler that aspecting a perfect facilities & good food but yet the best setup hotel available in Mersing.

Small hotel by the beach

Stay at this place if you want to sleep somewhere there is more atmospheric than the town area. It's not a bad place. The rooms are clean, the air-con works fine and you get free views of the beach. On top of that it's cheap. For RM$120 per night, you can also indulge in a buffet breakfast of nasi lemak, mee soto or porridge.

Unique Quality: The major draws here are the swimming pool and the sea-facing rooms. Ask the receptionist to give the rooms on the third floor facing the beach. If not you'll get the rooms facing the pool where the squealing kids are...
