Fishing with Local Fisherman
by Azri_Azmi
As Langkawi is an island and its surrounded with sea, fishing is great activities to be done. Many agents are offering fishing trips openly to any angler or groups that wanted to fulfill their time by doing fishing.
Another way of fishing is by doing it with a local fisherman. I do have an uncle in Langkawi who is a fulltime fisherman. His boat is not a big one that can only catered for 2 to 3 person per trip. He has many secret fishing ground all over Langkawi and its surrounding. His boat is being placed at Sungai Kisap.
You may look at my travelogue to know more about
my fishing trip with my uncle. If you are not an angler, at least by viewing this travelogue, you may view some beautiful natural scenery during my trip with him.
Contact me if you are interested so that I may ask my uncle's permission to bring you for a day fishing and learn how the local Langkawi fisherman performs their routine tasks.

Chocolates and Beers
by mary2u99 about Duty Free Shopping
Langkawi enjoys duty-free status you can do the shopping as you arrive via the airport or Kuah Jetty shopping malls from 10am to 10pm.
For me the best buy is still alcohol and beers is only RM2.00 or RM3.00 per can. For cosmetics and perfume I still prefer to buy it in Kuala Lumpur. You can buy souvenirs, cameras, cloths, chocolate, cigarettes, alcohol and cosmetics. From RM2.00 per can of beers and over
