Flora Place: Most Convenience

It is such a cozy Hotel at their rate. Rm100 a Night you get the best Bargain in Town. It's very new, quite and in the town center. I like the parquet flooring with a peaceful environment.

Most of the Hotel in Kelantan are below par with their maintaince but this hotel is superb, everything look so new. And the restaurant at the roof top is an add advantage.

Renaissance Hotel: For A Stay Of Comfort

This is a nice cozy hotel for it is rated as 5 Stars! The ambience of the lobby is filled with Malay features. The room is well tidied and comfortable for a night stay. It is situated in a location that is considered near the airport (about 15 minutes drive) and the city centre (about 20 minutes drive).

Sri Chalet, Tanah Merah: Half-way stop chalet for East Coast diving

We stayed in this affordable chalet with 26 rooms, air con with tv, shower and parking. Also has a restaurant.

Reason being is that is a convenient overnight stop to drive all the way from Penang Island after work on Friday. Often arriving after midnight.

Then early in the morning to head off to Terengganu for early boat to the Perhentian or Redang for diving.

The Ideal Travellers´ House: Just relax and recover for new adventures !

Okay, no pool, no TV, no restaurant, no laundry service, but believe me, the warmth of the family who is running the place is making up for everything you might miss !

Very clean, very cosy and a great place to meet other travellers.

Oh - one more thing for the ladies:
As usual : Vacations in backstreets are always a problem, even if there is the cosiest hostel at the end. So please- if you return late from the night- market or whatever- make sure to be accompanied by someone you know.
