A truely friendly hotel.

I will always remember the friendliness of the hotel's staff. The hotel itself is a fine hotel, though some of its furniture and amenities are quite out dated as it has been around for more then a decade. It also has a good selection of food for its buffet, particularly its buffet for lunch and high tea.

Unique Quality: The staff are really friendly, make me feel always welcome here.

Apart from the personal touch, this business class hotel also has all the facilities and services commonly found in other hotels in its class.

Location wise, it is located within walking distance to most of the places of interest in the historical city and just next door to the oldest Roman Chatolic church in Malaysia - St Peter's Church. One of Melaka's premier private hospital (The Southern Hospital) is exactly opposite the hotel, a great convenience for health tourism tourists.

It is dinner at the seaside. This restaurant is one of the many Portugeuse food stall in the square. You can have your seafood serve at your table near the seaside and windy environment. The hawkers style dining set beside Lisbon Hotel, Melaka black papper crab, cuttlefish fritters, otak-otak (grilled fish paste) and grilled fish ala- Portuguese

From Renaissance Hotel to Banda Hilir

by kentut_besar

Hi, can anyone remember, is Renaissance Hotel walking distance to Banda Hilir (Malacca Central), e.g. to Stadhuys, St. Paul's Church, Jonkers Street, etc ?

If so, whats the approximate walking time (assuming you're taking a gentle stroll) ? :)

Cheers.
