Used to stay at this hotel formerly known as Riviera Bay Resort many, many years ago. Coming back here this weekend.

A resort facing Malacca Strait
Formerly known as Riveira Resort. It is 14 stories of hotel and apartment where you could have a breathtaking view of Malacca Strait and a big swimming pool. There are hotel room, 1-bed, 2-bed and 3-bed apartment for a family outing.
Under the new management, i feel that the hotel need a refurbishment even tough the room condition is still okay.
I stayed at 11th floor deluxe room. There are separate sleeping area and viewing area + mini bar area. The wind is so windy on this floor.
Unique Quality: great view of Malacca Strait with good windy balcony.

Beachresort or familyhotel with pool nearby Melacca
My family will be travelling to Singapore and Malaysia in november. We are planning to stay in Melacca for about 5 nights before heading for Penang.
We are travelling with a 3-year old and a 9 months old baby, therefore we are talking about staying at a beach resort and do daytrips in to Melacca town.
Do you know of a familyfriendly beachresort nearby?
Is there maybe a familyresort in town with garden and swimmingpool? It is not necessary to stay at the beach since we are heading for Penang afterwards, but we need a pool!
What about Pulau Besar?

You may try Everly Resort (formerly Rivieria Bay resort) in Tanjung Keling, Melaka. Alternatively, you may consider its neighbour Shah Beach Resort. As for Pulau Besar, I thinsk its OK to visit as day trip from Melaka (nothing much to do & see there anyway) rather then staying overnite in the island.
