Grand Continental Hotel Melaka

My husband and i only stay 1 night there. The check in was fast. The room was really big and spacious but the furniture looks old. The mattress is really good but the toilet is smelly, the remote control for TV is not working, the aircond is centralized so u cannot control the temprature, the parking is open and very limited space. Breakfast is just so so. With the price, maybe i should go to other hotel. and the location is not really near to the major tourist attraction. u need to take cab or drive yourself.

The staff at Regency Hotel in Johor Bahru had recommended this hotel. ( be careful whom you ask for advice!). The price was good, just 100 ringitt all included. the carpets had stains from another era, plastic curtains, a little tacky, it had the look of a tired old lady.

Unique Quality: I wont recommend this place especially you are here with your significant other. Go to Hotel Equatorial where there is bit more life around. One good thing about this hotel was the indain restaurant which is within walking distance, Udaya.

Unique Quality: Grand Continental Hotel Melaka has a total of 147 rooms. Standard rooms are located from the 2nd to 5th Floor, while the Deluxe rooms are on the upper floors of 6th to 8th. All rooms offer TV and in-house movies, mini bar and tea/coffee making facilities (Deluxe room only) and IDD. Families of four are recommended the Deluxe rooms.
