Tengkera Mosque
by pres_16
Seen this one on our way back to KL coming from Melaka proper. Attracted by its green painting, it kept me wondering what it was until I found out it was a mosque. This state mosque has a different architecture, a 150 year old Sumatran inspired architecture.
Located at Jalan Tengkera, Melaka.
Antique Shopping on Jonker Street
by urchinn
You can find quaint little shops like this all along Jonker Street...most sell antiques and souvenirs, there are even one or two that offer painted wooden sandals for sale. Melaka is well-known as a haven for antiques, however if you are not an antique expert, best bring along a friend who knows the genuine from the fake.
Which Nightlife
by vinc_bilb about Melaka raya
Excepted some nightclubs in hotels (Bayview, ...) nightlife seems to be flatt, excepted for those who like Karaokes. If so, most of the well-known Karaoke are located in the hot spot of Melaka, Melaka Raya streets (one night club also, end of the street).
Sometime good live musik also, but verry strong. No restrictions in my view
