Straits Meridian Hotel

Straits Meridian Hotel, the darkest experience!!!!

the reason why i booked this hotel was totally because of the availability during christmas period, and plus they stated the location was 'malacca city ', which allured me into taking the risk of booking this no-one-has-ever-heard-of-it hotel.
please give me the reason why should anyone consider this hotel, if u managed to convince me to reconsider this hotel, i swear i would drink up the water in the melaka straits right before your nose
when i left the hotel, i saluted to it, it is the first time in my life to have such a bad hotel experience, and i am sure it is the last time.
ok, if you want to hear the details, here you are -

Unique Quality: 1)the hotel gave us wrong room type, wrong bed according to request, and they only said "we didn' knoe". the errors wr never corrected
2)the room is smelly as if someone just massaged his athlete feet in this room
3)the tap water is brown color
4)there r blood on the floor and under the bed sheet, even on the curtain
5)the lights r not working, the safe s not working, the phone s not working properly
6)the tv has no remote control & look as old as my grandpa
7)aircon give noise instead of cool air
8)the high way is just outside the window, u can imagin how hard we tried to managed to fall asleep
9)the hot water was never hot, i shivered through my every bath
10)it was written on the shampoo box - "3-in-one, shampoo, shower cream and soap", luckily the toilet cleaner was not included
10)the breakfast, no vegetable no fruits, everything extremely salty
11)there are green weeds in the swimming pool, maybe fish also
12)the public phone is working ridiculously, you have to keep feeding coins, 1.1 ringgit only lasted for 30 seconds for a local call, which i only managed to speak 1 and a half sentence to my malay taxi driver
13)receptionist girl always looks melancholy, as if she never had enough food or sleep
14)you may say, 'what do you expect from a 40$ hotel', ok, the hotel is 20 minutes from town by taxi, and the taxi fare is at least 12ringgi depends on the driver's mood, no shopping centres or restorants nearby, only a bus stop 5 minutes walk away with no bus ever turned up. so you tell me is it worthy for the bugget $?
15)according to reservation, 270 ringgi net for 2 nights stay, but they charged us for 300, i asked why, they cannt give any answer. the manager asked me for the proof of 270, i hv to search the dustbin for the reservation slip! i wld never believe that they don have any copy of it, do you?! luckily i found the nbr "270" on one piece of the shattered paper and got my 30 back
