Hang Tuah's Mausoleum
by imstress
The Hang Tuah's Mausoleum is located about 15 kilometers from Melaka town in Tanjung Kling.
Hang Tuah is a famous Malay warrior who is brave and good in martial arts.He is the youngest knight appointed in Melaka.
It was referred to as the old tomb so that it will not be seized and destroyed by the Portuguese and its invaders.
Watch sunset on the bridge
by dfactor
You can watch great sunset on the bridge connecting the town area ( mainly Melaka Raya ) and the Tengkera/Tanjung Kling area. The bridge is very close to Century Mahkota Hotel and Mahkota Parade.
When I was there to take this shot, a lotta cars slowed down to have a good look at the sunset. A couple pulled over, got out and yanked their camera phones out, took pictures. Tourist coach seems to know of this spot as well.
Pantai Kundur
by dfactor
Not too far from the more popular Tanjung Kling, lies a little subdued, but just as good Pantai Kundur. Long beaches offer a great place for the kids to play in the sand, or a dip in the sea. However, the trees offer a much needed-shade from the hot sun, where most locals would have their picnic. The foreign visitors, or should I say the white, would prefer to lie on the beach, enjoying the sun as much as they could.
At night, Pantai Kundur offers a nice place for dinner. When I was still living in Melaka for my pre-university education, we would come here almost every weekend for the famous Roti John.
Hang Tuah Mausoleum
by Azri_Azmi
Hang Tuah is a well known warrior here in Malaysia. And everybody knows that when they heard Hang Tuah, the first thing that will be on their mind will be Melaka, his loyalty to the Sultan and braveness.
His Mausoleum is a simple Mausoleum located at Tanjung Kling, half an hour drive from Melaka town. His tomb is situated inside a compounded Muslim Cemetery.
Not many tourist or even local attracted to visit this Mausoleum as I think due to it lack of highlights, location and simpleness. But, if you are here in Melaka, do visit this Mausoleum as Hang Tuah is a legend, not only for Melaka but Malaysia. At the Mausoleum, visitors can learn lots of Hang Tuah's history and his contributions as the lead Admiral for Melaka.

Hi,
None of the market is close to Studhuys. The bigger one is in Bukit Beruang. You can take a bus to Bukit Beruang where Multimedia University is. This pasar Malam has the usual local food. Try the store selling penang laksa and prawn mee. Also, if you can find Ayam Percik which is famous in Melaka pasar Malam.
Good luck.

HI There,
There's a local night market at Jalan Kee Ann, near Mimosa Hotel. If I am not mistaken it is open daily from 6pm to 11pm. From the "Red House" it is a 15 mins walk.
Here's a very good map for directions:
