We took a night train from Johor Bahru to Jerantut, and transfer to Kuala Tahan by bus. The bus station is just within walking distance from the railway station. The first bus to Kuala Tahan started at 5.30 am. This is the cheapest way to travel to Taman Negara.
We reached Taman Negara before 7am. We had breakfast at a river restaurant. After registration and administration, we had our lunch at a river restaurant before we start our trekking expedition.
Our expedition start from Kuala Tahan to Gunung Tahan summit, and back to Kuala Tahan, took us 7 days.
