What else can i ask for...it's a long weekend with monday as public holiday. Expect it to be very busy. From the kids pool, they invaded the adult pool. Nevermind the depth, they have their floats.
My guess is Hyatt has become a great place for family getaways or else stay during weekdays to enjoy peace and serenity.

Stayed here numerous times. Pretty much you get eveything you would expect in a 5 star hotel.
However , the TV however have limited channels (local stations, Vision 5, and 4-5 satellite channels). Many rooms are somewhat old and the room furniture clearly shows it.

Stayed in deluxe room for a nite (RM130). The shower area is small (0.5x0.5m) only and don't expect much frm the pool either, as it too is small and the depth is shallow.
The good thing is that the room was clean. The room was not provided with drinking water, so I asked for a jug of water. The person on the phone asked me to get it myself frm the restaurant, unbelievable!

What more do you want the beach at your doorstep, two swimming pool. Standard room upgraded to deluxe.
Unique Quality: I love the open air cafe and the Sampan for drinks. The swimming pool have a bar in the centre so after the swim its nice to have a sip of refreshing cocktails.

Services are generally good. Check-in is promptly done and the bell boy will assist u with your luggages.
Superior room is practically OK with all basic necessaties but Deluxe Room comes with spacious bathroom.
Room rate comes with breakfast for one person. Do inform the hotel during check-in or booking if u need more!
Has affiliation with selected Frequent Flyers.

Verrrrrrrry near to other food outlets by the beach - so u r spoilt for choices.
The Mc Donald restaurant next door opened for 24 hours.

Located by the beach in Teluk Chempedak, this is a hotspot for European tourists who've need to escape from the daily grind for a while. The hotel is sort of old but some sections have been refurbished. My room was comfortable but I felt that it was lacking of the usual 5-star luxuries. The breakfast is complete with local and foreign fare. There is a spa available for more pampering and facilities for family fun.
Frangipani trees with pretty blooms surround 2 swimming pools, and several restaurants available to cater every taste. A little town is a short stroll outside the hotel area where you can eat some local food or fastfood (KFC & McDonalds outlets available) and buy souvenirs.
The hotel is near to a forest where wild monkeys live so don;t leave your balcony open because they can enter and steal stuff from your room
Unique Quality: The place wants to make you unwind and forget about the rest of the world. I've even met tourists who have been staying for weeks.

The Hyatt resort is really nice situated in a bay at the North of Kuantan. It offers a private beach, 2 pools and several bars.

The Hyatt is in a great location near the sea. It has a couple of great pools so you can lie by the pool and catch the ocean breezes. I didn't stay here, but was more of a day visitor.
Unique Quality: The Hyatt also has a pool bar so you can sit in the pool whilst sipping expensive cocktails. One cocktail was equivalent to my weekly food budget, but it had to be done. There is a lovely boardwalk near the Hyatt where you can walk along the beach and plenty of food nearby.

Located only a short distance from Kuantan,the state of PAHANG. Located along a strecth of beautiful white sandy beach.The Hyatt Regency Kuantan is well established as the preferred 5 Star business hotel and resort.An efficient Business Centre caters to corporate travellers needs.

It is rather an old hotel, been there for more than 25 years... the location is nice...smack right in front of the sea. There is nothing much to offer around the area, maybe it is the only best hotel in the area. If you move further northwards, Tanjong Jara is much much nicer.
The Hyatt Regency is a 4-star class hotel and one of the best in Kuantan. Located off the beach Telok Chempedak. Private beach- close to food stalls/McDonalds.

the hyatt in kuantan is very old and not the best place to stay for the hotel rate... nothing of interest around the hotel, although it is along the teluk campedak beach... a popular beach for locals... you can check hotel details at the hyatt website viz www.hyatt.com ...
