Lake Chini Resort
The "resort" is closed for renovation which started 6 months ago and still in progress. I was stranded without accomodation. I was directed to a homestay in Felda Chini wbout 10 km away. It is a 2-level boxy building that reminds me of a container accomodation in construction site.....nothing homey about it...n it costed RM 120 per nite for a spartan room.
Restaurant food is limited to the only food centre in town with some stalls selling satay, noodles, and basic cooked food accompanied with a healthy dose of flies competing for your food. Decided to tah pow back to my a/con room at the homestay.

The resort is by far the best in the lake vicinity... Managed by Dinar Tiara, the resort offers deluxe chalets to comfortable dormitories... It is have campsites along the shores of the lake...Local and western food is served at the resort...
Unique Quality: The resort is by the lake with its beautiful view... Deluxe chalets are at RM80, standard chalets ar RM60... Dormitory is at RM15 per person and campsite at RM5 per person... The resort also have 2-days packages which includes lake tour, river cruise, jungle tracking, visit to orang asli village, canoeing, absailing and flying fox... Including 2 night accommodation and all meals, it cost about RM195 per person...
