an alternative ..
Besides the usual Damai Laut resort which is synonymous with Lumut, we decided to look to stay elsewhere. A quick phonecall to a good friend gave us an option.
"Go stay over at Lumut Country Resort located in the town area and walking distance to the jetty." Alright !!
Unique Quality: This is quite a basic hotel (low rise hotel eg no lifts) with clean beds, bathrooms and powerful air-conditioning :-) There is also a pool and a restaurant (which we did not try .. oh well).
Location-wise, it was excellent ! There are food places nearby as well.
