The Resort has 300 deluxe rooms with each room tastefully decorated with a blend of modern facilities and intricate design of reminiscent of the rich Perakian heritage... All rooms are equipped with minibar , individually controlled air conditioning, electronic door lock, in-room safe, hairdryer, TV with 24-hour in house movie channels and satellite television, IDD telephone, coffee and tea making facilities and a balcony.

Unique Quality: For F&B, there are The Garden Terrace, The Blossom Courtyard, The Noodle House and The Gayam Seafood Barbeque and Bar... For drinks and relaxation, there are The Blue Chip Lounge and The Nineteenth Karaoke Lounge... For spa lovers, there is the Samsara Spa for a good massage and relaxation...

There used to be a ferry service from the Lumut Ferry Jetty to the resort but his has since discontinued after the upgrading of the road to the resort... Guests will have to travel by road to resort now unless there is special arrangement to go by sea...

Resort in the jungle

About 30 min from Lumut town lies Swiss-Garden Resort & Spa Damai Laut. Not only is it a hotel resort but it also has its own 18-hole championship golf course - Damai Laut Golf and Country Club. Getting to the hotel is a challenge because halfway, you have to go into the thick rain forest jungle through winding roads and many road bumps. But once you are through the thick folliage, the hotel and an amazing view of the sea emerge.

You can find what you expect here, a few restaurants (chinese, western and the standard cafe). I quite like the Gayam restaurant, built on stilts above the water, which name comes from a legend of a sea nymph.

There is also the Samsara Spa, a chain of spas you can find in other Swiss Garden hotels that provides a lovely atmosphere for you to relax. You can get a traditional balinese or thai massage or the standard beauty treatments

Unique Quality: When you drive into the rain forest, expect to meet a few "locals" hanging around on the trees. Sometimes, I'd bring fruits for these monkeys which are plenty in numbers

Swiss Style??

Located on 425 acres of natural rain forest and plantations, the hotel has its own 18-hole championship golf course - Damai Laut Golf and Country Club, designed by the well known American Ronald Fream and there are 180 units of Swiss-Court Holiday Apartments.

Price starts from RM180 double room per night..good for families wanting a break by the beach, play a round of golf(18hole) while kids enjoy thier stuff.......

NOT recomended during Public Holidays..too pack!

Unique Quality: 4 star - Jungle Treking, spa, Outdoor Sports, Beach Bar and a beautiful Pool overlooking the South China sea.

Jungle Surroundings / Golf Course

For the kids = really fun. Big sprawling grounds, in the jungle.

But the beach in front is not that clean.

They call this a LUMUT hotel, but it's actually on the other side of the river.

Unique Quality: Great pool, great landscape.

Too far from any other people. Very good for romantic honeymooners, family, company conventions etc.

Not for the backpacker !
