Working Journey: Nice new hotel
I started driving around 10 am to teluk intan from ipoh. It took me about 1 hour and 30 minutes.
Once i reach teluk intan i was looking for a hotel to check inand i found this hotel exactly behid pasar raya ten ten at jalan changkat jong. For room rm48 the room was worth it. beause it has attached washroom. Quiet near to giant and gulham rashul.

Hotel Intan: Highly recommended hotel at Teluk Intan
It was my first trip to Teluk Intan. Being an auditor, travelling is every part of our job. Though we can't afford to be choosy with any of the hotel accomodations provided by our clients, we were indeed very satisfied with the hotel that our client has chosen this time around at Teluk Intan.
A decent hotel situated merely at a 2-storey shophouse, Hotel Intan did provide all the basic amenities that one requires. We were very much impressed with the cleanliness of the room and washroom. The room was beautifully decorated and looks relatively new as compared to other budget hotels that I've encountered before during my other audits at Behrang and Sitiawan.
Hotel Intan provides free car-park facility, 24-hour CCTV surveillance and has free wi-fi internet. It is located about 5 to 10mins drive from town centre. Furthermore, room rates are very reasonable.

TNT Novelty House: Teluk Intan's treasure
A quaint guesthouse in the middle of a housing area, springs surprises the moment we step into the entrance. The front that looks like an entrance to a big bungalow, actually been transformed into a cosy guesthouse with plenty of double bed rooms (only RM50 per night)

Motel
It is in the town centre. About 5 min walks from TI Leaning Tower.
It doesn't look good from its exterior. Only if you are very budgetted, else you are recommended to choose Anson Hotel, which is just a few doorsteps away from it.

Anson Hotel: Anson Hotel
Anson Hotel is probably the most easy and obvious choice in Teluk Intan town center. The town has not seen too many high-rise buidings, this hotel is therefore quite prominent. This is not the only one hotel, many more actually.

Anson Hotel: Teluk Intan Best Hotel
I arrived Teluk Intan quite early that day and I was wondering whether can I check in early since the check-in time is 2pm. So, I gathered I have too many things to carry around while sight-seeing and decided to try my luck. Hooray! They let me checked in as early as 8am since they had room available for me. Their service is considered excellent as Teluk Intan has no really classy hotels around. The facilities may be limited to the standard necessities. However, one thing that I find weird is they only provide coffee and tea makings at the lobby instead of in the room itself. This is the same with newspapers facility where you only get to read the shared copy provided at the lobby. And they don't provide Chinese papers. Guess that is only the lacking part. Otherwise, I am happy with the cleanliness and their service overall.
There's no swimming pool provided though, not to mention gym and other facilities. Basically, it's for stay in purpose and I bet that is the best accomodation you can find in Teluk Intan.
