See, you have so many choices of restaurants that I already don't know how to tell you what are they for, all I know is they are selling something and I saw so many tourists went in and out with smiling faces.

Penang's "Komodo dragons"

Unlike their more vicious cousins of Komodo Islands, the monitor lizards of Penang Islands are quite bashful. The local Chinese calls them "Si Kah Chua" or "four legged snakes".

You can often see them crossing the road or dead on the road. Dashing through the bush along a river or in the rubber estate. Surprise to see this one on a rock by the sea at Teluk Bahang. There was a pair.

Have heard that monitor lizards are eaten by some. Cooked with unripe papayas and that is not a myth.
