Hotel

The best thing about PJ Hilton is that it offers guests a little of everything. Hotel has several restaurants, all of which seem busy with locals as well as guests. I particularly enjoyed the Japanese where the do an excellent Sunday buffet lunch. There are also a number of local restaurants just across the street and around the block which serve excellent food at decent prices. If you like a bit of nightlife then Uncle Chill's pub within the hotel offers live music most nights - however, drinks do seem quite expensive outwith happy hours. My only criticism is that the check in seems a little slow and inefficent. I had agreed a late check out (7:00pm) but on day of departure I was hassled 3 times asking if I was checking out, including duty manager coming up to my room. Location is not the best if you wish to visit KL centre but suits my business meetings.

Petaling Jaya or PJ's best hotel

My stay? Erm.. I did stay there once, a very long time ago. I must say, it's really a nice place if you have the budget to spend. The coffee house hosts one of the best 'High-Tea' sessions that I know of in the entire Petaling Jaya. For those who don't know, 'High-Tea' is something most Malaysians love to go for. It's a buffet styled meal, where you pay around US$10.00 per head and eat all you want.

The Paya Serai Restaurant is now opened again after some renovations.

Unique Quality: View, what you saw in my intro page .. hehe kidding. Well, actually they have an average view of the town, the pool's pretty ok and the food is fantastic.

They do have a great entertainment place called Uncle Chilli's and usually they have a live band there as well. Cigar/Wine section is pretty cosy, and they also have a games room with a pool table and a table football.

A local DJ spins music from the 70's right up to today;s current top hits. Greeat food too there. Place closes around 12midnight to 1am.
