"If I could turn back the clock"

To all existing and regular and potential customers, Please think twice before you decide to check in at this hotel, as this hotel is run by an owner whom behave like a bunch of crook and run the business without having a degree of respect to the customers. My wife was being humiliated by the owner itself on Sunday 24th October 2010 at 12.30pm, when the owner "I don't think he deserve the "Dato' title, when he can shout and questioning my wife why we only take one room instead of 2 rooms in front at the reception area. Reason because he taught that we have a big family and should stay more than1 room. He should check with the counter staff first before shout at our family that I am paying for 2 rooms. This hotel is run by the owner whom is not professional, poor human relations , prejudice towards races and racist. He should demand an open apology to me and my family. I have been a loyal customer to this hotel for the past 7 years and would like to declare that with an immediate effect to stop check in at this hotel in the coming future. Regret and nothing can salvage our pride and dignity. Very - very dissappointed, It is not about money , it is about our feeling and dignity,

Unique Quality: Pools, other facilities are acceptable but since the owner has no trust and sincere heart with the customer, whatever facilities that they are providing are now meaningless. No element of trust between owner and ground staff. You feel sick when you see owner doing a spot - check at the counter and start yelling and shouting to the customer. Guest are not welcome to this hotel.

The best rating for this hotel is " 1 star " :- Low class hotel due to low class hotel owner mentality.

Malaysia's Lousiest Hotel

My friends and I stayed in the Shah Village Hotel in Jun 08 and was doubled charged via credit card payment by the receptionist upon checking in and on the upon checking out. When challenged, the staff claimed that the charge during checking in serves as a deposit and they would cancel the claim. However when I received my credit card bills later, they never reimbursed this deposit. I have called the hotel and brought up this matter to their staff. Till date, I have yet to receive the deposit. The staff are not helpful in helping to resolve the matter at all. It's a place to cheat tourists from other countries of their money. Do not go!!!!!

Unique Quality: Except for the nice looking pool and the surrounding around it, the room, and staff service sucks!!!

Personally, I would give this place a miss.

The car park is not sheltered - i.e. its get too hot in the day and you need an umbrella when it rain.
The reception, payment, enquiry were mend by just one lady - i.e. be prepared to wait in line for half an hour. I made my booking of room via their website, but when I turned up at the reception, my booking was not made. Apparently, the web admin did not handed over my booking to the Reception, or so they claimed.
I stayed in a Deluxe room - but there was no room plan or concierge available, so we ended up walking in circles with our luggage looking for our room on the 3rd storey. There was no lift, one has to carry the luggages up 3 levels.
The Deluxe room appeared worn down, and the bed and beddings smell โ€“ bought a can of Dextol spray to sterile the bed and room. Mineral water cost RM5 instead of free.
The TV was small, and placed on the side of the bed instead of the front. Reception was poor, only 3 channels were reasonably clear.
The bathroom was spartan. Water pressure was low, and hot water was warm at best. Only 2 bath towels were provided โ€“ no hand or face towels, and the towels were yellowish brown. Only one toilet roll was provided. No comb, shaver, or toothbrush was included in what are considered standard toiletry pack in most hotels.
Breakfast was basic โ€“ nasi lemak and fried noodle.

Unique Quality: Staff were helpful and nice.

Great place to say on a budget.

My wife and myself stayed a week at the hotel in Feb. 2007. The staff was great and took great care of us. The room was clean, cozy, and was a little worn. The lobby is nice with a sit and chat area or a place to wait on your party. The breakfast was good with both western and local items. For the cost and location it is a great deal for anyone. Don't forget to call early and make a reservation (they use a old school reservation book, it is quite neat), request a room with a pool or courtyard view.

Unique Quality: Great location, super easy to get a cab, on a one-way street, close to a mall, close food stalls, close to the LRT and great staff.
