Very dirty apartment/room... rubbish uncollected @ staircase, very smelly. The pool too crowded, looks very dirty as well. Food do not have any taste, all my buddies can't even finish their foods, even coffee is tasteless... the sea alot oil and chemical/toxic, not able to get ourselve wet...

Where the beach, sun and sea combine to give the resort a sense of calmness and serenity to weary travellers. 288 tastefully designed sea view apartments with modern facilities combined with large pool...recreation facilities, sea sports, sunset BBQ and more activities. Ideally located less than 10 minutes away from Port Dickson town, Glory Beach Resort welcomes you to an affordable world of luxury and pleasure. Overlooking the beautiful shores of the Straits of Malacca, Glory Beach Resort is an ideal combination of business and pleasure with full access to everything from fully equipped meeting rooms and a host of other recreational activities.
If functions and conventions are going on in the resort, do expect some crowd especially in the swimming pool. Both adult and children pool will be packed and hard to frolic around. Furthermore, the pool side and outside of restaurant will have temporary tents erected for luncheon and dinner, really an eyesore and make the space around smaller. When booking, it's best to enquire whether is there any functions going on at that time to avoid crowd and disappointment.
Glory Beach Resort does not have a nice beach. On the right, you can see some concrete chalets and buidlings jutting out and on your far left, oil refinery plants / depot and long gas pipes stretching from the shore to sea. At evening, you can see fire blowing out from the oil refinery plants. Even all apartment unit has a balcony but not the sight is not appealing at all. During low tide, I can even see dark patches of oil on the surface of sea water. Yuck ! So you better confine your activities here to beach volleyball, soaking your feet and playing the sand only. Can't understand why some soon-to-wed couples like to come here for photo shooting.
Apartment rooms are not well-maintained. My room has loose parquet floorings, flimsy door knobs and broken hooks. Apartment is not equipped with cooking facilities but an electrical kettle and small fridge.

Hawker food stalls are setup in the evening during weekends, selling chicken wings, nasi lemak, burgers, hot dog, grilled fish, chicken rice, laksa, fried Kway Teow, ice kacang & teh tarik. They can fill your stomach when you are hungry during dinner or supper time. Prices are from RM3 to RM10.
Every weekend, the resort will organise a "D' Apache" show near the pool side to entertain all hotel guests and children. They will perform few captivating stunts unsing fire and kerosene. Parental guidance is advised. While the show is going on, loud music is blasted from speakers and rather deafening to the ears. Guests can participate in the games and win some small prizes. Photo shooting at the red indian tents in daytime is not a bad idea though.
Apart from the fire show, there are also special appearance by clowns and live band on the weekends.
