The golf club is part of the Royal Palm Springs Resort City ~ comprising villas, condotels, marina canal, conference hall and resort village...

The 18-hole par-72 golf course plays to 5,835m from the blue tees with the 1st Nine at 2,935m and the 2nd Nine at 2,900m... The course is comparative flat turfed with cow grass... Water comes into play in a number of holes... The signature hole is the par 3 hole #15, with its green along the beach of the Straits of Melaka... The course is not well maintained and hence with compararive light traffic, even on weekends and public holidays... The clubhouse has changing room facilities and a golfer's terrance for drinks and simple meal...

Ten Mile Beach - Port Dickson

A great place to swim, relax and watch the sunset.

If you have any local methodist Christian friends, then you can rent the methodist centre rooms for as low as RM60.00 a night.

It has attached bathroom, twin beds , hot shower and air-con. It has a nice compound to relax and is beside the sea.

Sun tanning anyone?

As Pantai Cermin beach is not that suitable for swimming, there is a sun deck here to make up for what it is lack off.

So if you think of getting some tan, heads to Pantai Cermin and enjoy the tanning session in this secluded beach. Apart from the sun deck, there's a few BBQ pit scattered along the beach for those who want to have a BBQ party.

Going to the beach doesn't really mean that you have to get wet here in Pantai Cermin.

"KL-ites seaside getaway"

I have fond memories of Port Dickson (or affectionately known as PD). This was where boyfriends who wanted to invite me for a short romantic weekend getaway would take me to or a walk by the beach :-)

Not surprisingly, this is the nearest seaside town from KL (about 1 hour) with decent beach resorts but not so clean seawater (with a name like PORT Dickson, are you even surprised??). It's also the place to get great seafood at cheaper prices than KL.

"Best accommodation in PD"

So far, Avillion Resort is still the best accommodation in PD. It's worth splurging a little more and get one of these water chalets. Make sure you get one right out in the sea otherwise at low tide, it's not a pretty site as your chalet will be sitting on a pool of mud!
