Water Based Recreational Facilities
Although Port Dickson is known for her beaches this resort is located further inland. Nevertheless, Tiara Beach Resort is a place of choice for those wanting to indulge with water based recreation. This `inland sea resort' has the biggest man-made beach in Malaysia.
Unique Quality: There are 6 restaurants, 1200 rooms and is just 90 minutes drive from Kuala Lumpur. There are various family oriented facilities including waterfall with slides, care centre, games and karaoke rooms.

Family VAcation Apartment
You will be greeted by a small lobby frontdesk (ironically for a huge resort) and I don't really fancy the que system for checking in and out. It is best to book in advance as weekends are filled with locals and Singaporeans for a family jamboree.
My family did not eat in at the resort as we prefer trying out hawker or coffeeshop food.
We stayed in a 2-bedroom apartment and the only view I have is the dark and sinister corridor and the annoying children's pool. The back of our block is a jungle which of course does not belong to the resort and we were not spared from attack of the mosquitoes.
Unique Quality: The fun bit about the place would be the 3 huge man-made pool. The fake beach would be nicer if only they would add more of it because it seems to be receeding the last i went.

Tiara Beach Resort
The resort is very popular for group tours and hence tends to be over-crowded during weekends and public holidays... There are various activities in the vicinity of the pool late into the night so ask not to be accommodated in the apartments around this area or you will be disturbed in your sleep... This includes an open air cinema...
The resort is secluded and self contained... The nearest town is Pasir Panjang which is about 5km away... and one must have own car before you can go anywhere out of the resort...
