a bit of advice needed please
my husband and i are arriving in kl on the 28th june and are thinking of booking an internal flight to kt when we arrive at the kl airport, is this possible to do?
we plan to make our way over to redang island and stay at the redang island resort for 6 days (my husband would like to do some diving but has no experience so needs to do the padi while were there)and head to another island for 6 days then back to kl for our last 4 days
we were thinking of the gem island or somewhere like this
any suggestions will be greatly appreciated

why don't you buy in advance? beside it could be sold out, but a tichet bought the same day (o the day before) would be expensive a lot.

I gave you Malaysia Airlines link.. at the moment KL -> KT costs 69 MYR and you HAVE NOT to change terminal to get an AirAsia flight. With an international flight you probably will arrive to KLIA and AirAsia works on LCC, it takes quite a long to change termimal, beside AirAsia close check-in almost one hour in advance.. ok... more info here http://www.klia.com.my

The ideal flight time to KT are the morning flights. AirAsia 7.05am and MAS 8.30am. If you flying in to KLIA by MAS, then it is best you connect with the 8.30am MAS flight. Transit is easier within the same terminal and no need to re-check in.
By using these morning flights, you are well time for the boat departure timings to Redang island which normally departs between 10am-12pm.
If you flying back from KT airport, the ideal flight would be the MAS 4.55pm flight.
