So-So hotel ?
Room - air conditioned, nice size.
Food, good variety to choose from, unlimited drinks only at meal times.
Facility - Tennis court, local dive centre
private beach, great for night walks
Easily Accessible, you can walk to other resorts from here.
Staff - not too friendly. Remember to bring your meal vouchers every single time, or you go hungry. no exceptions.
Unique Quality: Ice-cold air conditioned room, a fantastic feature :D

Resort with private bay
It's the most expensive hotel in this island, but worth it. It's located in a 'private' bay where the beach is all on your own.
Unique Quality: The food is excellent, the view is spectacular, the staffs are friendly (maybe most of em are Indonesians! Hehehe!)

Suitable for Families
For those coming with families, big groups or those who are looking for a quieter vacation, Perhentian Island Resort will be suitable for you.
Located on Perhentian Besar Island, this resort has it's own private beach which is nice and sandy. The water is crystal clear and great for swimming as there not a lot of corals around. So it's pretty safe even for kids to swim in the water.
Unique Quality: A little more high-range as compared to most accomodations on the island, this resort provides more facilities to it's occupants such as a swimming pool, a tennis court, 24-hour electricity, hot shower, air conditioning and karaoke.
Thus, the room rates are also a lot higher which is in the range of RM200 - RM350 per night.
However, they also offer holiday packages which can be a pretty good deal.
