The Pan Pacific Hotel: Airport hotel

A very exclusive hotel. But what do you do when you arrive late in the evening after a long flight from Sydney with an eleven year old child an without reservations? And what with it, when this luxury cost only about 80 USD! (315 Ringgit including tax.) At least that is what we paid, back in february 2002. I am not sure, though, what the price per person is, since we were one adult an a child sharing a room, and the dollar was much stronger then than it is now (goes for all my tips from our journey around the world 2001 / 2002).

We basically ate and slept there, since our purpose was travelling along the next morning. All the pictures are from the Pasta & Mee Restaurant, which is open 24 hours!

We were told that the hotel is run by a Norwegian, maybe that is the reason why it is so good ;-)

Close to the airport, luxurious and yet not very expensive.
