Shah's Alam first 5 star hotel
Blue Wave hotel in Shah Alam is located in the heart of Shah Alam, the state capital of Selangor. Shah Alam's landmark, the blue-domed Mosque is just a stone's throw from the hotel. Inside the hotel you will hear 5 times a day the call for pray from the mosque. Even when the windows are closed, you still hear the calls. First day, just a funny detail but later, you really get more irritated of it. Where you walk, everywhere you hear the Mosque... :(
Hotel is pretty luxeous... it claims it has a 5 star rating but unconfirmed... Malaysian hotels like to give themself always lot of stars to compete themself with international hotels as Hilton...
Unique Quality: swimmingpool, spa, massage, non-working hot steam rooms, restaurants & function rooms and a entire floor for ladies only... :(

Luxury of a 5-star Hotel in the Heart of Shah Alam
The Grand BlueWave Hotel Shah Alam has been classified 5-Star by the Ministry of Culture, Arts and Tourism, Malaysia.
It is the first 5-Star hotel in the heart of Shah Alam. The hotel's facilities include 24-hour room service, high speed internet access in all rooms, Japanese speaking guest relations managers, multi-lingual staff, limousine service, safe deposit box, a swimming pool and a fitness centre and also facilities for the physically challenged.
The choice of buffet spread is quite generous offering an eclectic and various kinds of food from Western, Japanese to traditional Malay.
Unique Quality: The hotel offers daily shuttle service to shopping malls such as the PKNS Complex, Shah Alam City Centre, Alam Sentral, Shah Alam Mall, Tesco and Giant Hypermarket.
There are also special transfers on Saturday, Sunday & Public Holiday to Subang Parade, Sunway Pyramid, One Utama, Mid-Valley Megamall, KLCC, Lot 10 and Berjaya Times Square.
However, the shuttle service is available on a first come first served basis and each transfer is able to accommodate a maximum of 10 persons only.
