amazing place to spend my 50th birthday on the bayu villa (overwater bungalow)
very friendly staff allover the resort, very delicous food, dream place to relax

described at simple accommodation we found the accommodation of seling island (turtle island) very comfortable.

Hidden amongst a veritable treasure trove of tropical plants and grasses, hug trees and spectacular orchids in bloom, the quaint bungalows of the Sepilok Nature Resort are within walking distance of the world-famous Kabili-Sepilok Forest Reserve, precious home of the last wild Orang-Utans of Northern Borneo.

The accommodation at this resort was straightforward motel-style cabins, clean and air-conditioned and the location was away from most things. However, the people who run this place made it a most wonderful stay for us.
We had chosen the upgraded room and it was a nice size room with nice bathroom.
There was also a balcony that over looked the grounds.
The power went out when we first arrived and it was hot and steamy inside and out.
The beds were terrible, like sleeping on a soft piece of foam.
I don't know if I would stay there again.
This resort is located in an excellent location. It is a 5 minute walk from the rehab center.
A short drive from the airport in Sandakan. The grounds on the river are beautiful.
A great place to stay for backpackers & budget travellers. With a very reasonable price, I got to enjoy a clean room & common bathroom & many great facilities (for the price i paid).
There are free internet access, tight security & great living room to hang out. There's even a small kitchen providing some simple foods & drinks without charges (normally brought in by the workers & guests). The workers there were friendly & warmth.
Moreover, the lodge is located in the centre of the town.
The overall service were great.
