The service is wonderful and the facilities excellent. The restaurant prices are perhaps a little high for Malaysian Hotels. The Hotel is exceptionally clean with large rooms. Three lovely interconnecting pools and a very clean and safe beach. The most polite staff in Malaysia who really make you seem extra special.
My only criticism is the Hotel is too large, almost like a cruise liner and the restaurant
prices. They do offer happy hour in the bar with special prices on beers and cocktails
last visit in September, 2004.
Unique Quality: The hotel rooms in the main accommodation block offer wonderful views of the sea with beautiful gardens in front. Try and catch the sunset in the west. Exceptionally large lounges with very comfortable chairs. Great snacks and service in the outside bar next to the pools.
Unique Quality: This is a very large resort which has its own private beach, golf course, outdoor massage, horse riding, cycling trail & many more activities. The place leading to the resort is quite remote but it's packed with all activities for all ages to keep your stay exciting. However, I would say it's a nice place to relax & unwind. It's more than 30 minutes away from KK by driving.
The hotel lobby & lounge exudes a rustic charm as all the interiors are made from hard wood. The environment is airy & cozy. The beachfront is long & well-kept with a lifeguard post.
Did not stay at this hotel, but had a look around while we went by to pick some people while on a trip up to Mt. Kinabalu.
The resort looked new, with a great seaview and nice golf course.
Facilities also look fairly nice, though the whole place looked quite big and spacious.
The only thing is, its location is a bit far from town.
Overall speaking, Nexus is a nice place to stay in KK...just as long as you want to have a rather quiet and secluded vacation. It's got everything...nice beach, great facilities, friendly and helpful staffs. Only complaint I have is that it's too far from the city centre and you have to pay to take their shuttle service to the city centre.
Located in Karambunai near Sepangar Bay you will really feel far away from the urban lifestyle. A 5 star resort (I've heard 6, but what's that?) you can play golf, laze around the beach and generally do jack-all. The only problen would be paying hotel prices for food given that their no shops anyway within walking distance.
Unique Quality: Location, if you want to get away. Facilities are very good.
the hotel is perfect, good service and nice building, many choices for daily activities
Ocean view rooms are just wonderful. location is just paradise. Food fab. But most of all the staff are the most friendy and pleasent people I came across on my trip around the region.
Unique Quality: beach is just great. Hardly anyone on it and the south china sea was very warm.

Nexus Resort - 'some say it's heaven' is their motto and they're right. Great value for money - 5* resort but you don't get ripped off on 'extra's'. Staff are genuinly helpful and they really want to please. Size and comfort of rooms, service, facilities.
I stayed at Nexus Resort, and guess what? It's a wise choice and the service is wonderful! Great place to stay.
RM460 per night (twin sharing) - normal price
Promotion price till sometime in Aug 2000 - RM283 with breakfast. Nice building, great smiles from all the staff. Good service.
