Great Hotel for the money
Tune ads say 5 star bed and shower then you pay extra for aircon towels etc.Its in the new Mall at 1 Burneo. This is the best hotel I have stayed for the money with aircon 17.00 a night and it has 5 star beds showers free internet in the lobby.Conected to the mall so plenty of places to eat free shuttle to town about 20 minutes away.This is a new hotel chain in Malaysia 4 open now planing on expanding all over asia.
Unique Quality: Small rooms 9x9 with bath but for the price if all you need is a good bed and shower this is the place to stay.Very clean and safe to stay.

A New Shopping Experience in KK

The latest and trendiest shopping experience in KK. Located along KK waterfront, the mall comes alive in spectacular fashion with over 100 trendy outlets, restaurants and two hotels.
Two storey building with natural sunlighting and many dining & fashion outlets. The building design concept is quite unique. A popular hangout place for the young & trendy.
However, by the time I wrote this tip, Borneo One Hypermall should be the largest shopping mall in KK with two attaching hotels. Tune Hotel is just at the annexe building.

Transport from Tune Hotel KK to KKIA

I am staying at Kota Kinabalu Tune hotel and need to catch a early flight (7.00 am) from Kota Kinabalu to Macau.
Please advise if it is possible to get a taxi to pick up at Tune hotel, Kota Kinabalu to International airport at 5.00 am in the morning. Otherwise, if Captrans provide shuttle service at this early time?

Tune Hotel at 1@Borneo is about 45 minutes away (early morning drive) so I strongly suggest that you leave for the airport at 4:30am. I am sure the hotel can make special arrangements for a taxi pickup. I noticed that there are taxis waiting outside the hotel BUT I'm not sure whether taxis are still available early in the morning. Just make your booking at the front desk.

G,day.We travelled to Kota kinabalu airport from the Tune hotel for a 7am flight on july the 1st.We arranged with a taxi driver at the taxi stand outside the hotel the day before, the cost was 60 ringit as we paid double the normal cost and it ensured the driver would turn up for the trip. I think we left the hotel at 5am.
The captains shuttle would have been more expensive and they looked shifty.
