B&B Inn- Budget stay

I stayed there for Feb 09 and Apr 09 visit. I chose the air-con room private room with shared facilities for RM40 (Apr 09). Non-air con private room with shared facilities was RM30.

The owner Mr. Chan was very friendly. I emailed him to reserve the room and called him to arrange for some side trips ahead of my arrival.

Cheap & good B&B in Kuching

The owner was repainting the place when I was there. The rooms are clean, share bathrooms were also very clean. There is a common kitchenette to make drinks or cook simple meal. You can arrange for a longhouse stay, enquire from reception.

Owner is friendly and helpful. For RM35.00 for a double room (with fan), it's one of the cheapest B&B in town.

It is also in walking distance of the Waterfront (10mins) and (10mins) to the famous Tua Peh Kong temple (oldest temple in Kuching).

Budget Accomodation

The room is clean, has separated male and female dormitory.

Unique Quality: Breakfast included but self service please.

B&B Inn is located upstair of a dental clinic. It is around minutes walk from the bus terminal. Walk across the Padang Merdeka up Jalan McGouglas. Come to the end you will see Ting Ting Supermarket.
Next to the supermarket is the Borneo Hotel and B&B is just beside the hotel.
Press the bell for assistant as the door is locked.

Do not ask any local for the direction. They will probably tell you it cannot be reached by foot and recommend you for a bus ride. That was what I experienced and ended up I was dropped in the middle of don know what road and walked for 40 minutes or so for the place.

Kuching's Cheapest Accomodation

The cheapest accomodation in Kuching has rooms with twin beds and dorm rooms with two bunk beds. It has shared (single sex) bathroom facilities with hot water and a kitchen area with rooftop patio.

For the price the B&B Inn is good however visitors should be aware that it is not particularly clean and that I found bed bugs in my bed on the last night (and all that time I had been blaming the mosquitos!!!).

Only consider staying here if price is your primary concern.

Unique Quality: The price.
