Great service and fantastic views
Crowne Plaza Riverside in Kuching offers some luxurious accommodation in a very central location. There are great views from the rooms across Kuching and down the Sarawak River. Rooms are spacious, comfortable and kept very clean. An excellent buffet breakfast is served and there are good meals at reasonable prices at other times of the day. The staff are helpful and friendly.
Unique Quality: Views from the rooms and the pool area are fantastic. Staff offer superior service in a very friendly manner.

Great for business & leisure guests
The Crowne Plaza Riverside Kuching is a strategically located hotel that is within the financial & commercial district of Kuching. The rooms are large with nice bathrooms and if you're lucky to get the riverview rooms, you will be rewarded with an awesome view of the Sarawak River & Fort Margherita. There is an excellent gym but the pool is somewhat small.
Unique Quality: The location is great for everyone. For the business guests, this hotel has all the amenities you'll need and major banks are nearby. For the leisure guests, there are 3 big malls within walking distance (1 of them in the same building). A bowling alley & cineplex are also located in the Riverside Shopping Complex.
Should you get hungry, the hotel has some nice restaurants and other cafes/restaurants/coffeeshops are minutes away on foot. Other attractions e.g Carpernter Street, Kuching Waterfront, Fort Margherita are close by

Make Things Happen
Staff are really attentive and can remember their hotel guests by faces. Staff at the concierge are so friendly and helpful and always served with a sincere heart and smile.
The lobby is a bit small but it's still a business-friendly hotel.
Unique Quality: In line with the hotel's motto, you can choose your preferred choice of pillow. Be it feather, foam, contour, cotton pillow etc. To test whether the hotel really makes thing happens, I have laid a small note on my bed to request for a feather pillow. When I return to the hotel at night, I found a plush and good quality feather pillow on my bed together with a card on tomorrow's weather forecast. I slept sweetly and confortably that night, thanks to the feather pillow.
The second test was to test on the hotel maintenance. The light bulb of my desk lamp was burnt out and I have put a note on the table for the housekeeping maid to change it. To my surprise, the bulb has been changed and the housekeeping maid even doodled a picture with a word "Done".
For those TV die-hard fans, there's a speaker built in in the bathroom. While having your bath, you still can listen to your favourite TV programme without missing any part.
There are quite many surprises or unique qualities from this hotel. They have introduced bedside shopping. You can order business or personal items through the receptionist. Items like stationery for your business needs, batteries for camera, condom for emergency, sanitary napkin when in need or panadol when you are not feeling well, etc.
Crowne Plaza really going beyond customer's expectation. It had made my stay memorable and enjoyable. Kudos & keep up with the good work!

spectacular views of kuching waterfront and surrounding city. adjacent to the biggest shopping complex in the city, riverside majestic. compact features include bistro, swimming pool, massage services, tennis court & futsal arena and many more. in-house services are simply ravishing, my favorite weekend city stay.

Cosy hideout within the Cat city
Stayed for four nights. Extremely friendly and courteous staff (i emphasize on this because lhospitality industry is known to treat locals like 'lesser mortals'). There is a friendly tourist information officer at the main reception area. You name it, he knows it.
Rooms are okay. Excellent housekeeping staff. Our needs were attended to without fuss.
Unique Quality: extremely close to the happening places .... seafood, waterfront, river cruise, bazaar, museums, you name it!

A great Welcome, full of local laughter
I have noticed that people here laugh a little more often than in Malaysia West and certainly more than in singapore. Majority of the guests at this hotel which costs between 200 and 500 myr per night are local people or other malaysians visiting, so the ambience is very pleasant.
Unique Quality: Because I am a member fo the Priority Club, I was upgraded to a Deluxe room. Lovely comfortable room facing the river, with all the amenities. Very friendly staff.

Convenient Crowne
We's stayed in the one bedroom suite and it was quite adequate. Although it was clean and comfortable, I found the bathroom in particular to be abit outdated.
However, staying at his hotel was very convenient. Downstairs you'l find a Parkson Shopping centre, a stones throw away is the river and Malls, and right behind the hotel is the best food court in Kuching - Top Spot.

Majestic Hotel by Kuching's splendid Riverside
This building was originally designed as an office complex but due to lack of demand for office space, it was turned into a hotel. This explains why the lobby area is rather small (but still adequate). The rooms are normal, hotel standard, and clean.
Change of Name: Some years ago, this hotel was known as the Riverside Majestic
Good views for photographers::
It has good views from the 18th floor (there is a restaurant there) and you can take great photos of Kuching city from there!
Unique Quality: This hotel has great view of the Kuching riverside and the main town area. In the evening, take a stroll along the Kuching riverside, and enjoy the breeze.
From the 18th Floor restaurant, you can take very good photos of Kuching city - arial view!
