The rooms are big, and Hotel Grand Continental is a Chain Hotel allocate in many of Malaysian States as well as Singapore, Australia and New Zealand.
The Hotel Grand Continental Kuching is strategically located in the commercial and financial heart of the city and is just a short stroll away from places of interest, such as the Sarawak Museum, Chinese History Museum and The Waterfront, also known as Main Bazaar. Exotic delicacies awaits food lovers while shoppers may be amazed with the Sarawakian Handicrafts, all within 10 minutes walkaway.
The 192 guestrooms offered at the hotel are well furnished with modern amenities to meet the needs of its guests. The hotel as well provides its conference room, which is suitable for a broad range of functions such as seminars, banquets, exhibitions, trade, displays, weddings and even formal dinners.

Unique Quality: The Hotel looks is very Chinese as it is locally owned. The Kuching Grand Continental was Opened in 1996 and which is now 10 years old. It is rated 4 stars and the room is widely spaced out and very convenient for everyone. They have experienced staff and location wise is not too bad. Cost for rooms are average and most people can afford as most of the rooms are inclusive with breakfast. They do have rooms on executive floor which is lsighlty more expensive, and they also have one grand ball room, and two avearage size seminar rooms allocated on the 1st and 2nd floor of the hotel.
